I'm so disappointed. We bought this TV at the store literally talking about how we trusted the Samsung brand. Two weeks later, the TV has started to randomly act out. It will cut the sound, replace it with a weird stuttering and won't respond to the remote. The only solution is to unplug it and turn it back on. I'm so thankful we're still within the return period and we didn't put the effort into putting on the wall yet. We'll be returning it and purchasing something else.

I have one in each bedroom, the kitchen, family room and one in my outdoor living area. The picture quality is unequaled in my opinion. I'm delighted with the functionality of the remote control the ease of use between applications. The SmartThings app is helpful as well. My only complaint which is minor and not a dealbreaker is the apps will occasionally freeze up. The remedy for this has been to remove the power source and reboot the set. I'm a Samsung fan for life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd flat TV purchase since 2006, and my first Samsung. I'm amazed to see the dramatic improvement in value for one's dollar, as well as the technology overall. It's making me feel old...but I digress. Let's get the bad out of the way first. The remote is cluttered and poorly organized, with too many shortcut keys for some functions and not enough for others. I've stumbled into the wrong screen more than a few times while just trying to change the channel or volume. The “smart” interface is also cluttered and pretty illogical. It could benefit from some bloat reduction and start menu type hierarchy, considering it doesn't need to do anything complicated. The “hub” is a fair attempt at this, but still suffers from indelible “sponsored” and “suggested” content. The interface also seems laggy, and I'm fairly sure it's not my Internet connection...sometimes I have to wait a second or two before a command is executed. Perhaps most puzzling is the glitch I encountered and was able to get around by reading a support forum- a new content app can't be successfully installed unless the TV has recently been disconnected from AC power so it can fully reset. Oh well, no big deal. Everything else is great- to my untrained eyes and ears, the picture and sound are great, and the price certainly was right. Just be sure to switch to “FILMMAKER MODE” unless you're fond of the frame smoothing effect that makes everything look like it was shot on home video. Cheers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv has great picture and sound. It also has plenty of connection ports for everything. The only real complaint we have is the remote has a delay. The delay is noticeable enough to be annoying when trying to navigate on the tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As for the TV itself, we are very satisfied with it. What we do NOT like is the home screen and remote are not ergonomic. The remote: the main buttons used are the arrows, ok/enter, return, guide and home. They are placed in the lower third of the remote and are tiny resulting in the wrong button being pushed constantly! With them being placed in the lower area causes the remote to be placed in the upper part of hand making it unbalanced and easy to drop. The number buttons are at the top and large yet never have used them. There are 3 app buttons in the center that are also large and not used. The remote needs to be redesigned. The home screen: Too cluttered even with removing/deleting the things that are allowed to be removed. The area where you can organize your apps is small and hard to read even when they are enlarged through the accessibility settings. Finally, make sure you watch Samsung videos on transport and unpacking. I feel Most bad reviews of issues at the time of purchase and set up are due to the consumer mishandling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I recently purchased this Samsung TV. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to be happy with this TV. After getting it hone and setting it up, I was amazed at the difference in the picture from our old TV ( which, by the way, was not a very old TV.) I also was impressed with the amount of apps that you have access to. I LOVE the Samsung TV hub! Overall, it is probably the best TV we have ever purchased as far as quality of the picture. The only thing I don't like about it is the remote that comes with it. The buttons are very small and they're close together so if you don't have a light on in the room, especially at night, as our TV is in our bedroom, its a little difficult for me to use. Other than that, I live this TV.

Love the different picture settings. The remote fits well in my hand. The buttons are arranged nice on it. The price was also amazing for the size tv I purchased . Fits nice in my entertainment center. Love the minimal edge around the tv. Feels like your in a theater with the great picture and the sound system hooked to it. Simply LOVE IT.. .

Overall it a nice TV though I'm not impressed with the "Smartness" part. The web browser is both slow and quite awkward to use even with a wireless mouse and keyboard. It come installed with apps for Hulu, Netflix and Prime. I cant comment on Hulu and Netflix as I only have Prime but an Amazon Firestick with its own remote is far superior to the Samsung app which leads me to the Samsung remote control. There are dedicated buttons for Hulu, Netflix and Prime which take up real estate better used for something else if only for more spacing between other buttons. And Heaven forbid you unintentionally press one. Backing out is a frustrating three step process. There are two other menus available to access those apps. Why have dedicated buttons. The remote itself is too skinny, buttons on the small side and too close together. It's the only remote I've ever had that has the "power" button on the top left. It has a round back that prevents one handed operation when laying on a table or next to you on a sofa as it rocks side to side if you attempt to press a button. You must pick it up to use it or use a second hand to hold it steady. The buttons suffer from contact bouncing which is very annoying. Intermittently skips up or down channels and volume settings. Sometimes three of four increments. Bottom line: the worst remote I have ever had. BN59-01315A If you have cable and mostly use the cable remote, then it's not much of a problem. Otherwise ... I would only recommend this product to a friend after demonstrating the remote.
