You get what you pay for in a low-end Samsung TV

i didn't expect this model to look as good as a quantum dot tv, and especially not anywhere near as good as an oled, but i did think it would be an improvement on my old 1080p tv from a lesser brand. sadly, it isn't. if my family looks at the tv fairly straight on, the picture is okay, but if anyone is off too far on the side, it gets considerably more washed-out. bright content looks pretty vibrant on the tv, but dark content, especially in movies, looks terrible. large black areas look splotchy and take over sections of the screen, even with movie mode on. any, yes, i have updated the firmware. picture aside, it has only two hdmi ports, and one is taken up if you use an arc soundbar. really, samsung?

There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings. Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode. This tv has an amazing picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my husband for Christmas and He/we absolutely love this tv. The picture is vivid and crystal clear. We have a surround sound hooked up to the optical and the sound is amazing. It is a smart tv and we had no trouble at all in connecting it to our WiFi and it actually works better on WiFi than the smart tv we have connected in the same room as our modem and router. I debated a while on which one I wanted to get for him as we have always gotten A different brand tv, but I am so glad we got this Samsung tv, it was a great choice. The only thing I don't like about it is that you cannot control the volume with the tv remote if you have sound hooked through the optical input which really ain't that big of a deal since the surround has its own remote.

Crystal Clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my TV for streaming shows from my galaxy phone. Also watching movies and listening to music. I love the fact that I can connect it seamlessly to my other Samsung products and it also connects to other Android devices as well. My TV is very user friendly. Also I love that it comes with its own television guide and lots of channels so it feels like you have instant cable. The price for the TV was awesome as well. I plan to buy another Samsung TV for my bedroom in the near futurem

Amazing picture

Great TV, but network and app difficulty

i bought this tv and the picture is great; however, every time i turn it on, i have to reconnect it to the network. i have three other samsung's in the house and i do not have this issue with the other ones. sometimes, i am only able to access the samsung plus app. it will not allow me to access netflix, hulu, youtube, etc. i will turn it on and off and it still will not let me access it.

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Best TV I've ever owned

The 43” is perfect for my smaller living room, it was super easy to set up both using the remote and the smart things app. Beautiful picture and good quality sound even without speakers attached! Love it!

Smart TV with clear screen and internet features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my TV for watching shows taped on DVR. Also, I exercise from You Tube videos on the screen. It is a little hard to fast forward using the remote when I am using You Tube, so still learning there. If there is a show I want to watch using the internet, it is really easy as they show up in the menu. At times, it is difficult to use with ATT Uverse as Uverse is slow loading the program. Also, the screen was a little dark on some shows. There is a feature to get help on the main screen. That is very effective!

Extremely Happy!

i am totally pleased with my new 58" samsung 4k smart tv. the quality of the picture is superb for such a reasonable price and it's east to use. was able to keep my local cable tv and add on hulu and netflix. very sleek look. i would definitely recommend this tv to family and friends!

Perfect Picture

recently rented a cabin branson, mo. the tv there was a samsung, and it had a beautiful picture.when we returned our tv was no longer working properly. i purchased a samsung, and i have been very happy. my only issue is the extremely small buttons on the remote.
