It's so so slow.

Price is great. Picture is very nice. Sound is good. Loading or changing between apps is sooooooo slooooooooooooowwww. It's like driving a Camaro with a Chevette engine. If there was anyway speed it up the stars would increase. Until then it's a decent 2nd or 5th TV.

Great Quality, Easy Set-up

this replaced my 10 year old vizio and what a replacement! i loved how it can hook directly to the internet instead of wifi. i was surprised that an app helped me to set up the tv. i downloaded the smartthings app and followed the steps. it scanned all my channels, registered the tv, and got everything set up pretty quickly! the picture is fantastic. i would not think that an upgrade from 1080p would be that noticeable but it is. i was also impressed that the viewing even from angles was clear. some tv's blur as you move off of center. i am very happy-great tv for a great price!

This TV is the best color and picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using the streaming services. I love the picture quality. And I am pretty sure it is the best for me. If there is anything that I didn't understand that is pretty self explained in the setup and manual. I recommend this one to my friends and family

Pixelation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great picture and bright but you clearly see distortion around objects when they move across the screen. Most times it isn't that noticeable but sometimes it's pretty disheartening because it's a brand new tv. I had an LG prior to this and never had any issues like what I'm having with my Samsung. It's disappointing I always bragged about a Samsung I owned years ago. I guess you need to spend a grand to get a better picture.

Hi Whataboutbob, We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the crisp picture that the Crystal Processor 4K provides. If you are experiencing distortion, the issue may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps: 1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet. 2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback. 3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV. 4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box. 5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required. 6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode. I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. You can contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Picture skips / difficult remote

we have had this tv for about 2 weeks. the picture quality looks good generally. however, we have noticed an issue where the picture seems to skip frequently while watching certain programs. we never had this issue with our previous tv. the remote control is also very difficult to master and is not intuitive, especially when switching between input sources or apps. even though it's a smart tv and has apps, we may have to go out and get a roku streaming stick in order to have a more user friendly remote control.

Voices overpowered by background music. :-(

great picture. several times i had to reset in order to view samsung tv shows. the biggest issue i have with it (and i did call samsung) is that many times the music (which should be background) is so loud that i can not understand what the actors are saying. several times it switches and the voices become louder. but samsung never heard of this issue... whether using tv speakers or sound bar, on shows i previously watched without issue, will have an issue. very frustrating when trying to follow the story plot!! i am hoping an upgrade will be snuck in to remedy this.

Excellent TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I watch my tv shows, stream movies and music. I also have a firestick, external speakers and a blueray dvd player attached to it. It gives the best picture and color in my shows or whatever I'm watching. I would recommend this tv.

Our new 50 inch TV Samsung.

When we went looking for a new TV there was only one name brand we trusted. Our appliances, our phones and tablets are all Samsung,a name we have learned to trust for great service and durability. We grabbed the 50 inch TU700 smart 4 k with a great picture and sound

Good-looking but bloated regret

the visuals and sound are fine. but the main screen is a bloated mess of ads, a confusing user interface, and apps you can't remove. i want a tv that lets me choose what i wish to see on screen. your attempt to make things convenient has resulted in a tv i downright loathe. the remote control is an un-ergonomic disaster. why would you put that many buttons on the controller? i need power, an enter button, and four navigational buttons to move around the screen. there are over 55 buttons, 91% of which i don't use and not one of the ones i use sits in the natural position of my thumb besides the samsung network button. i constantly mis-click and go into things i don't want. i hate this and it's not making my experience better. i would not recommend samsung tvs to anyone as a result.

Amazing tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this 58” Samsung tv! It's crystal clear for picture and very easy to use. It's not super loud as other TVs, when you turn it all the way up but the sound is nice and clear. It does require internet if you want to mirror you screen which is another downfall. But other then those two things I love the tv. Very little settings which I like. The remote is light and small which I like. The tv is also very lightweight compared to my old Samsung tv. I did have a little trouble mounting it but it's the mount we had. This tv is easy to set up. We use prime video and Disney plus apps. As for gaming we have a ps4 and let me just tell you it makes the games that much more better! Super clear and so lifelike. I highly recommend this tv!
