Nothing but aggravation

The picture is great when it works but I've spent almost as much time resetting and rebooting this TV as I have watching it. I've had my cable box, YouTube and my iPhone screen mirroring all freeze. I've owned the TV for a week and I've had to reset it every single day so far, some days more than once. I've used the self-diagnose tool to check the HDMI cable - it says it's fine. I've quit using wifi and hard-wired my TV to my router. I've used the “device care” tool, it says there are no problems. I've done the SmartHub connection test, I've reset the SmartHub and I've unplugged the TV half a dozen times. It still keeps freezing! All I want is to be able to press a button and watch TV. I've actually sat down with a plate of dinner and finished my meal before the TV started working. This is the first Samsung product I've ever owned and they aren't making a very good first impression. Seriously thinking about returning it to the store and seeing if I have any more luck with Sony or LG.

Beautiful TV for a great Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my tv for streaming 4k apps, using it as a computer monitor, and 4k gaming with my xbox. It works clear and crisp with most 4k applications. If the only thing the menu and response to the control can be a bit slow. But once a source is playing its crisp and clear.

Great bang for my buck!

Exceptional tv for the price.

I will always buy Samsung TVs

This is my second 4K tv I have purchased that's a Samsung. The first one I bought two years ago and figured it's worked out well so why not get another. This upgraded model is awesome. My only complaint is that the smart features are a bit sluggish. The picture is amazing and the HDR is amazing when I'm gaming. Screen sharing with my smartphone is amazing as well.

SMART TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung is top notch. The picture quality is so crisp. The sound is so nice and loud on low volume setting still loud. Also the smart remote that comes with the tv is amazing. It controls all of my devices, my Apple TV , my fios box and my DVD player. It's seamless all with setting up the tv the 1st time. So happy with those tv then the added free channels you get with the Samsung tv plus. How much more can you ask for. It's like I got extra things for free and we all know you don't get nothing free in this world. Then you have Samsung giving out quality products with free channels. Amazing. I've been a Samsung customer for over 12 years and I wouldn't have any other tv in my house other than a Samsung.

excellent picture

i got this tv a year ago. and it is a nice tv. i love the picture and the size. but i did not like is the operating system for it. I wish it was a goggle based system instead of ubutu. I am into computers and i am a graduate of computer networking. and ubutu op system is very hard to have products and apps to match it. A google is a better os. But all in all it is a good tv.

Great Overall Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall my experience has been neutral as I've owned the product for only around two-three months and upon turning on the screen one day there was a pinkish/redish tint to everything. It had seemed as if the brightness had increased too as pictures and images had blurred together and were no longer decipherable from each other. As far as before that, I had enjoyed it for watching and streaming movies or TV shows because the picture and colors are amazing. It also is acceptable for living room gaming as there is very little input delay but as far as refresh rate it could use some slight improvements. It wasn't intended for primarily gaming so it isn't a big concern compared to dedicated displays at higher price tags.

Please check that your TV has the latest firmware update, which should resolve this specific issue. To update directly from your TV, press the HOME button on your remote. - Go to SETTINGS (gear icon) > Support > Software Update > Update Now - Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update. After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart. Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button until the TV turns off and back on. Loving all the features and capabilities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters the picture quality is like no other television I've ever owned in my entire life, watching sports on it is like being in the stands at the games coupled with the sound it's perfect. It's skips from one app to the other fast and easy with no delays or lagging issues, all the streaming apps Netflix, prime ect.. all works perfectly, video games also is a thing to behold in this tv but what steps it up a notch is the discovery programs or animal planet shows is just mind blowing on this television and I pairs and works perfectly with my phone incase I loose my remote or can't find it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice for Price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this television. Wonderful picture straight out of the box. Super easy set-up process. We are a Samsung phone household so it was completely effortless to set-up through the Smart Things app. It connects to all streaming services straight from the TV without having to use extra devices to cast. One complaint I saw prior to purchasing was the limited number of HDMI ports. We connected our satellite to one that stays connected and simply have a cable inserted in the other that we can connect to any other device as needed (gaming console, DVD Player, etc) - the use of these are rare enough that it doesn't bother us. I am also sure there is some sort of splitter device that would allow us to keep them all plugged in and toggle through them as desired, which would be the better option for us anyways since we don't like having tons of cables visible with our TV being mounted to the wall.
