Great picture and gaming experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV recently which was an upgrade from ny 48" TV and what a jump! The picture quality is amazing, I mainly use it for movies and gaming now and the font in games are much easier to read now. My old TV had a less dense pixel concentration so font sort of blurred together much of the time.

picture perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been wanting a large TV for some time so when this 82" was on sale I had to jump on it. The picture is great and sometimes it feels like your in the movie, game, or whatever I'm watching. My wife and kids love playing games on it because its so big but I love it for movies and sports. Its everything I could have wanted in a TV. The only complaint I have is how fragile it is. Im scared to even touch it for fear Im going to ruin the pixels, but other than that its perfect! Super happy and would recommend this TV to anyone. Price is great too!

Great picture

The size and picture quality is top notch for a TV and fits great within the family room. Sound is clean as well. Installation was not to cumbersome and was able to hang on a bracket cleanly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a new TV.

I enjoy this tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung has many great features and is very smart and the resolution and game mode are stunning the cpu isn't as great as the 8 series but it's cool I don't do much streaming from the tv itself but picture and sound are great

Fantastic picture/sound, AirPlay issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Crystal UHD Smart TV has excellent picture and sound quality, especially for a TV at a lower price point; however, when connecting to the TV through AirPlay (iPhone, Mac) there seems to be issues with connecting successfully.

I heart this model and size 58”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro: First of the size is great for someone looking for a 55 inch, the 58 inch bump hits the sweet spot and price range. Totally a unique gem in size. The Samsung colors are great and screen quality up to 4K is awesome . The crystal version was way better for me comparing side by side with none crystal. Airplay awesome is great with android and iOS. Built in speakers sweet. Lots of settings to play with. Bezels. Con: Weak smart software , it lags often. This has been the case for a while. Nothing new. Great with external fire stick/box. The Bluetooth connection not auto connect. The connection to old speaker systems via 3.5 inch not possibly, only thru Bluetooth adapters. The sound changes automatically for each input change, it will blast full volume. Again, that's software. I know the “future” is sound bars via hdmi, okay.

Great Picture, Slow Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to skip listing all the items I like, as most everything is great, the picture sound, etc. I will dive into my 3 issues that I have with this TV, and maybe it is just because this is a little lower on the lineup of all their TVs. First The app does not work, I have downloaded it to my phone, and I get nothing - it never connects, and it sucks. I see online from other reviews that this is a pretty standard issue. I'm not running Samsung but if I was I would not have "Download the app" be the first thing when doing the TV setup if the app does not even work. Second the volume response from the remote is way too sensitive, if I hold it for 1 second it goes down by 1, if I hold it for 2 seconds, it goes down by like 15-20 - because of this I have to click it a bunch of times to change the volume, however if the volume button clicks are too close together then it will make a huge jump again. Finally the processor is slow, like really slow. When you turn on the TV and are going to select the app you would like, for example your preferred streaming service - it has a pretty long lag / latency between click, and when it actually moves the selected icon. It is bothersome enough that I have had the correct icon selected, and then when I push the OK button it hops over to the next app and opens that one up.

It's "OK" I guess

the product worked ok out of the box. everyone that talks about how unresponsive or slow the remote is - spot on... worse i've had at lagging behind your remote clicks. also it's several times lost all connection with my wifi which my computers or phones have not, so i know there's nothing wrong with my wifi router. it's as if the tv just loses all idea that it was connected to wifi and starts over with setup. very annoying.... we'll see if and for how long it stays on and connected this time. i really don't like the way that the tv comes on with samsungtv crap - just want to be able to customize the buttons on startup and haven't found a way so far. the picture/color etc. - meh, it's ok too. maybe i can't expect much from a cheap tv, right?

Marlin: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. You may also want to optimize the smart TV performance and address your issue with remote response time. This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care Lastly, you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on. If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off. I hope this tip helps. Amazing performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HDR is great (especially for game mode), the size is perfect, hasnt given me any problems that i could notice other than sometimes smartthings pop up but other than that, i couldnt have picked a better entertainment system for not only gaming but also streaming service i watch. Love samsung products.

This our second samsung tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is in our bedroom we love the picture it gives us. We stream off the apps the tv has on it. Plus my wife loves Samsung Tv plus there is so much selection. It works great no awkward wires to run and easy to set up. I had the tv up and running in just five minutes. We like the remote button layout also. We've had several Samsung tvs and haven't had a bad experience with them yet. What do they say "don't fix it if it ain't broke" so we'll stay with Samsung thank you.
