Picture is amazing

the picture is amazing....i know its not 8k but this picture really pops out....the sound is pretty good too dont have an echo like my old tv.... biggest complaint is the interface and home button and finding apps!!!! they need to simplify it and make it easier more like a phone display instead of everything on a line!!!! i do find it frustrating tring to find apps that isnt preloaded on the system.....and veey complicated and confusing....if they want to play with the big boys like roku they need to change and make it more user friendly!!!! i do ok with it... older people do not!!!

The best tv in his category

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best experience ever I didnt have full confidence when I bought the TV but once I turn it on it was amazing the tv has some of the best graphics on his category the color is perfect and the clarity of the image are stunning and the sound quasi perfect

Love my Samsung smart tv!!!!

So many channels! The sound quality is great, just what I expect from a Samsung. I will always buy Samsung.

Crystal Clear Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a bigger size TV to place in our family room. We always liked Samsung products and when we saw the TU700D in the store, we decided to buy it. We love its Smart TV capabilities. It looks great and has a crystal clear picture!

Awesome, but can't install SmartThings

this tv has an awesome picture and all of the hype in the marketing is absolutely true. it was easy to set up and works great like with my voice assistant...i use bixby with smartthings and also google assistant. my only gripe, and reason forn4 out of 5 stars is that i cannot download the smartthings app to the tv as in other models. i don't need the.vouce assistant on the tv, i'm not asking for that, but i would like to have a functional smartthings app and this model does not allow for that...if it actually does, maybe someone can enlighten me as to how to get it....do not tell me to set it up thru st or update the firmware or search on the apps section....all have been done to no avail.

Great features

Price was good, but that's all

slow to connect to apps. disconnects from internet for no reason. freezes during streaming. there also seems to be an issue between this model tv and pandora with constant skipping during songs. this issue has been heavily discussed on pandora's forums. all the issues i mentioned could be related to my internet provider, however, i've had no changes with my provider, so i'm not going to blame them. to me, this is solely related to this television. i usually buy sony but was encouraged by a friend to get a samsung. i should have stayed with what i know. i won't buy samsung again.

Great Value, easy Set up

My TV just died one Friday night, it was only 4 years old, so buying that brand again was not an option. Having only one TV and spending so much time at home during the pandemic, replacing it was a priority. I decided on this Samsung due to support for Apps and the Google ecosystem. I am a Samsung phone user and my other device is a Chromebook. TV works great, easy setup with the app, lots of apps for all your services. Hope this one lasts more than 5 years!

You Can Do Better

i decided to purchase this tv because my sister had an older samsung tv and the picture quality was great. so i had high hopes for this tv and i was hoping to ditch the fire stick with the smart tv features. so i was pretty disappointed with this tv. the picture quality is no better than my old non-4k vizio and the smart tv feature are incredibly glitchy to the point that i have up on it and went back to the fire stick. the apps constantly freeze up and half of the time they won't even launch unless i uninstall and reinstall them. and the 7 year old samsung tv actually has better picture quality. this product was not worth the extra money and i doubt i will buy another samsung again.

There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings. Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode. You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV.
