We couldn't quite place what it was that was causing us to have a weird perception thing going on. We finally agreed the extreme video quality makes the actors look so lifelike that it makes it appear like bad acting. It was funny, but now we have acclimated to the ultra high def and really enjoy the television. We could never go back to the old 720p that we used to have.

Overall, the TV is fantastic and a vast improvement over our previously loved Samsung TV that had grown outdated. The only issues I take with the TV are the occasional slow connection time at TV startup—it can take maybe 30 seconds to connect and will sometimes require turning the TV off/on. I will mention that we have occasional issues with internet on other devices throughout the home so I am not certain the issue is even with the TV (it likely is not). My only other complaint is that the remote feels like the buttons are really jammed together and it is not very easy to navigate, particularly in the dark. Obviously, if I dislike the remote so much I can always get an aftermarket remote to replace it. Lastly, for an overview of the positives; the picture is great, setup was easy, and I was shocked to find a bunch channels included for free on “Samsung TV Plus” (a nice bonus for sure). All of this for a great price point in my opinion. More than happy with my purchase and I will certainly look for a Samsung TV when this one needs replacing in another decade.

tv was used in a media room and light to moderate use. initially tv would struggle to start up and if turned off and on several times it would startup normally but eventually tv failed for good. tv tries to startup but gets stuck at the boot up screen and continually cycles through showing samsung powered by tizen then blank screen and then tizen and the blank screen- you get the picture even if i don't get a picture. first time samsung has let me down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older & smaller Samsung "basement" tv that has worked perfectly for years, so when my larger "living room" tv (non Samsung) suddenly died after 3 years, I decided the replacement would be another Samsung. I purchased online, picked up the next morning from the big box store, brought it home and had it set-up in less than 30 minutes. I use it just for tv viewing, with antennae and wi-fi channels. Great picture and easy to adjust the settings (color, sound, etc.) with the remote. Perfect choice for me.

I have a ROKU hooked up and a sound bar. One feature I wish it had is a sleep timer as I just moved it to the bedroom. Otherwise, it's been perfect.

Watching sports events makes us feel like we're there. We have dark drapes behind the tv and it's like being in a movie theater. We'd highly recommend this television.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV serves its function. It's not top of the line by any means but it handles the demand well. Unfortunately it does not handle the power of the ps5 well and I will have to upgrade to a better TV in the future. For regular TV, however, the picture is great!

I bought this a little over a month ago and haven't been disappointed. I was hesitant thinking that there was no difference between name brands but I'm very happy with Samsung so far. I'm hoping the longevity of the TV also holds up. My only complaint that really isn't an issue are the mounting bolt holes, which are apparently not a universal size. But again not really an issue just inconvenient trying to find the correct size. The built in speaker is on the quiet side but easily solved with a sound bar.

the tv is nice and clear with a decent accurate color spectrum. gaming on it is great as well, nice fast response times. the list of apps you can get is nice even if the tizen os is a bit slow. the only thing i really don't like are the ads in the initial turn on main screen (which can be removed by blocking the correct webpages) and the default to samsung live tv in the background when turning on the tv at first.
