Fantastic TV!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start this review by saying that i am some what of a TV snob. I research extensively before I make a purchase. Display size is very important to me but of equal importance is picture quality and features. This Samsung TV is smallest display in my home at 65 inches. Yes, I'm "that guy". The picture on this TV is stunning right out of the box. I do have a calibration disc that I use to fine tune the settings on my TVs. I didn't have to change any settings. I was really impressed with that. The sound from the built in speakers is also really very good. The remote is very simple to use and as a bonus it is a universal remote that works my DirecTV system and my sound bar. So no more having 3 or 4 remotes laying around. This thing has almost no frame to speak of which is very sleek looking. It has all the built in apps that you need with dedicated buttons on the remote for Netflix and Amazon. It also has built in Disney+ which is awesome. There are plenty of connections for all your other equipment such as sound bars, game consoles, and DVD players and you can control them all with this TV and remote. The one thing that I wish Samsung would change is that the power cord connects to the back of the TV on the complete opposite side of the unit from all of the other cable inputs. For those of us who detest cables running everywhere it creates more issues than it has too, especially since this could be easily fixed. Overall though, this is a great TV that you will love in your home. It's my 2nd Samsung TV and I'm sure won't be my last.

Great picture
picture is awesome. took some getting use to be ause it is so clear. only reason i gave it a 4 star is because of the remote. for some odd reason they did not have it light up. i keep having to turn on the light to use the remote. doesn't that seem odd. even the cheapest of the tv's come with remotes that light up. oh well, the tv was a gift so i can't complain too much lol.
Good screen, really bad interface
Just bought this TV yesterday and while the screen is fine, the smart TV UI is terrible. No way to remove apps that I don't use and it won't even let me remove them from the home screen. I don't like the Samsung TV plus, but there's no way to avoid it. Also, WAY too many ads. Additionally, the remote lags really bad, then jumps around as if I held down the button. Overall, not a good experience with the UI.
StanOS: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. We appreciate you sharing your experience with the interface. Your feedback is important to us and will be shared with our teams. To address your lag issue, you may want to run the self-diagnosis tool. I love my new TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying my tv for a week, I have to say that I love my new TV. This is such an improvement over my older TV. The image colors are vibrant and defined, and make the viewing experience more enjoyable. Great sound with fabulous smart features, it comes with a lot of apps already installed and it's very easy to access to them. I loved that I can connect my phone via WiFi and use it as the remote control. Set up was super easy. This TV has exceeded all my expectations. All though I do wish it had more than 2 hdmi ports. I highly recommend this TV to everyone.
Tizen terrible Samsung forces apps
the tizen operating system is slow and has very few features. many of the settings you would want exposed just arent available or are turned on by some other setting that you may not want to enable as well. it's too easy to end up in amazon prime or some other streaming service that paid samsung for a favorable position on screen. this tv is basically a better quality vizio with worse software. let me remove the samsung tv app. i don't use it and it's annoying. for that matter, why are the apps arranged the way samsung wants them instead of me? the person who paid for this tv. i should be able to set the icon i'm most likely to hit on accident because the remote is laggy. all said, i will most likely never purchase another samsung because of this tv.
Good product with a few tweaks
the picture is great and it was easy to set up. i do think the remote could be more user friendly; using the arrows and enter button at the bottom for almost every operation is cumbersome. the home screen is also a bit frustrating because it defaults to a random series or movie if you hit a button incorrectly and the apps are very small compared to the screen. all in all a good product for the cost.
Looks and works good
Ordered in February and delivered mid March. Was concerned with all the bad reviews before tv was delivered. First thing I did was update to new firmware per comments from Samsung. Netflix took about 30 min to work after update. I didn't want to spend a lot so this fit my budget perfectly. Not sure why only two HDMI since last years 7 series had three. Not a big fan of the remote. I prefer the remote that came with the 740d version I also recently purchased. No issues with tv.

Great Feature and Responsiveness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my TV for streaming movies and playing video games. I love it for both purposes. It has been excellent and I recommend the TV to anyone looking for a large screen. Pros: Great Picture Great Software Cons Screen Brightness is not relatively high enough NEEDS MORE HDMI INPUTS. It is so stupid they only give you two now.
CANNOT CHANGE APPS
so disappointed! bought this tv because it had apple tv and other apps. they didn't say the tv apps could not be changed. there is no room on the 1 gig of memory to add anything and you cannot remove the stock apps! literally the reason i bought the tv... i would choose anything else.

This tv sucks
i brought this tv 4 months ago and like a month in it started having issues like the screen going black i did all the little diagnostics and it started working again so rather than go thru the hassle of getting a new tv i hoped for the best now its turning on and off on its own while it still has black screen.... i should have returned it when it first started thanks for letting me down samsung
Mighty god: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly. Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software which can be found on the Support page of your TV model. 5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement. 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week) Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the SUPPORT link in the upper right corner for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options Again, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this product.
