When I got my own place, no research was even needed; I already knew which brand I am going for lol. It fits all my needs and I'm glad I got the newer version and that wireless internet connection made it so easier for me to rearrange my place the way I actually wanted it. Picture quality is great, easy to use and sound is great too and the duality use is a plus. Most networks that I watch are already installed; you can access YouTube from your phone by connecting it to the TV by Bluetooth which I enjoy doing when I am away from it or even use the phone remote. You can either have it on a stand which I do or you may hang it as well. That's all a college student needs for her nest. TV, candles, hot chocolate and rain; perfect combo in my sanctuary (my place : )

We also have our ring camera programmed to it so we can easily see who is at the door. The TV is not waterproof but it is easy to bring in each nice...so pleased with out purchase.

After years of being my parents living room TV and anniversary present from me they bought a new qled Samsung and gave this one back to me. It has screen burn in from when they left a DVD menu up on the screen one night. Then I have a TU8300 curved 55 inch that I just bought and never watch that sits under my wall mounted one on a TV stand. It would look dumb being wall mounted since it's curved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been enjoying having this TV since I've purchased it it's been working great the video and pictures very clear the sound is clear it doesn't emit a lot of heat which is incredible especially for tight rooms the TV size is great on like all the different TV stations that I've put it on it works great with my Samsung sound system including the subwoofer in the sound bar it also connects to my phone no problem at all.. At first the small print was a little fuzzy with the coax cable so I plugged in my HDMI cable and right away the TV switched to "New Device Detected " and took me through a very simple and easy setup process. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The television was very easy to put together and hook up. The picture looks great after figuring out the picture settings. Sound is great. My only gripe (and it is a small one) is that the buttons on the remote are extremely sensitive; setting it to an exact volume can be a hassle (some times it goes way over or under). All in all, this is a great tv for our living room.
