Decent Tv

This tv has a decent picture. My complaint is that I watch lots of hockey and you can see vertical banding against the white background during camera movement. It's not terrible, but I find myself focusing on it. For movies and tv shows the picture is good! Nice and bright.

Not user friendly

got this tv a few weeks ago, the entire smart component of it sucks. it has all of these extra apps and add ons it makes the screen very confusing. the home page automatically goes to crappy movies they own, i should have bought a regular tv and just used my fire stick it was much more user friendly. it also came with a bunch of apps i will never use and cant delete that takes up all of the storage so i cant even downlod the apps i do want.

You can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on. If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off. Please know that you can customize the Smart Hub by removing apps from or adding apps to the home screen. You can also rearrange apps to your liking. Simply select an app, press & hold the Enter key. You will see a popup menu with options to move or remove it. I hope this tip helps. Functionally useless TV -- 2nd review

this tv does not work. insanely slow and laggy, constantly have to unplug and replug to get things to work, excruciating waiting for it to switch between apps and connections. soundbar that pairs with it finds new and exciting ways to not connect to it all the time. my other samsung that's 10 yrs older works so much better. piece of crap. terrible ui

Good/bad features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good TV, clear image and vivid colors. Lots of apps that update periodically and a decent selection of free internet channels for those not looking to pay for a subscription. Also, since Samsung is one of the main players on the TV market, the developers are adapting a lot of apps to work on Tizen, the TV's OS, pretty much everything you'd find in a Roku smart TV is available in this TV's features. However, as a user of other Samsung TV's, I'm not super high on their updated Tizen OS, mainly because it doesn't allow screen mirroring from the phone (Galaxy S9+) and it runs everything through a proprietary app that only allows limited connection and not full screen mirroring. Trying to connect through the "Smart Things" app on the Samsung phone did not work and I feel this reduces the value/enjoyment of this TV. I have a 2019 model and I enjoy full phone mirroring, wish that feature was kept the way it was, but other than this the TV is great and a solid value for the money.

very happy so far

we've had this tv for several months now, and we've been enjoying it with no problems. the picture quality is excellent. internet connectivity is easy, and we've watched some shows by that means. our only complaint, and it's minor one, is that we wish the tv had more than two hdmi ports. in this day and age, people can easily have four or five video sources, and it's nice to be able to connect them all to the tv without have to continually switch cords. anyway, in short , the tv is great while the connectivity options could be better.

Great picture for the Price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has an great picture for most anything from Standard cable television viewing to streaming movies to gaming from a console. Only thing I don't like is that it wasn't manufactured with enough RAM or ROM memory for streaming apps. It has very limited space available to download streaming apps.

A Nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV to use along with my Samsung smart Phone. The quality of the overall picture is very good. The smart features work well. Setup was easy. The only problem I have noticed is flickering of the image at random times. It goes away after a little while, but makes the video difficult to watch.

Great for everything I use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv works really well with all my gaming consoles and has youtube and Netflix pre-installed so literally everything I would use my old tv for is in this one without using a firestick or a Roku or some other external device. Overall 15 out of 10 love it!

Not user friendly

so far i have not even been able to find a remote to use voice controls with. i dont have an alexa or google assistant. i just wanted the smart remote with voice button and it won't connect to it. i've tried calling and everything seems really vague.

Great Experience and it works w/Alexa & Harmony

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy this TV for daily OTA shows and news. Mostly I watch streaming HULU+ programing and blockbuster movies.. It's linked to my Yamaha soundbar for better audio with deeper bass. It would be very helpful if a basic web browser (Puffin) was included. Samsung phone casting is a snap. Very nice television. Forget the rest and buy the best ...SAMSUNG!
