Outside too hot

The outside of the crockpot gets too hot. It blistered my finger when I touched it. This is very dangerous if you have your children that might accidentally touch it.

Would NOT Recommend!

One of the pins on the lid locking feature fell out the very first time I washed it! Was able to put it back in, just for it to fall out the 2nd time I washed it and it went down the garage disposal!

Heating element quit working after one use.

I have had many crockpots over the years simply because they keep adding features I like. All of them still work. I bought this one at Sam’s and used it once and everything was fine. I went to use it again for the second time and it will not heat at all. I have never encountered this. I wanted to exchange this at Sam’s and try it again, but since the store does not carry it, and it is just out of 90 days from the date I purchased it, I can not just exchange it. Sadly, I returned it and now need to decide if I repurchase at a higher price and try it again or try a different brand.

I love my crockpot. I'm not Rachel Raybor Betty Crocker. But this definitely makes cooking a bit easier. I use it at least twice a week. I've had this one for about two years and it's still going strong. I would recommend this one because of the time that's an awesome plus.

Stopped working after one year

I bought this Crockpot just over a year ago. I have used it fewer than 10 times, and now it does not work. I have tried resetting it according to the manufacturer's instructions, but it still does not work. Of course, it started malfunctioning just after the one-year warranty had expired, and when I called the Crockpot company, they basically said I am out of luck. Very disappointed in what used to be a quality company. I would not recommend purchasing this item. I will be going back to the same brand I had before which lasted for over 20 years.

Sucks!!

I bought this a couple months ago and this is my first time using it. Well the outside of it gets hotter than the sun. Inside it does not seem to be cooking all that well for how hot the outside is. I think my $20 crockpot from aldis 8 years ago is better than this hunk of crap. The only good thing to this junk is that it has a latching lid so after it takes 2 days to cook something you can have it melt through the bag they gave you.

Poorly made

This broke the first time I used it! Very upsetting, I was really looking forward to it. I was heating meatballs and marinara. It had just started to get hot and it shut off and I wasn’t able to turn it back on. I unplugged it and waited for it to cool down. I plugged it back it and turned it on high. After a few minutes it shut itself off again. So I tried low and it wouldn’t work! I’ve never had this happen with any crock pot I had owned before. Not sure if I want to try another one.
