I love my slow cooker. This was just what I was looking for and I'm so glad the warehouse offered it as a selection. I always read the reviews even though I knew I was going to purchase it because I had one like it in the past. I would still have it if a family member hadn't broken the lid. Anyway, I was surprised when I read one reviewer's comment about this model not being programmable. I wasn't exactly sure what that meant because it absolutely is programmable. If you're looking for a slow cooker that is smart phone or iPhone compatible this is not it. Maybe that was confusion. However this is programmable and I love it.

I have owned many slow cookers (All-Clad, Calphalon, KitchenAid, and Rival) and so far, this model has been a reliable source of yummy pot roast, tender ribs, and restaurant-quality lamb shanks. The clamp-down, leak-resistant lid does its job (no more soup in the trunk), and the 7 quart capacity is a blessing. Just keep in mind that, like most of today's slow cookers, it cooks a little on the hot side. So when a recipe says "8-10 hours on Low," your dish will probably be ready in 8 hours. (Writing this review has made me hungry. I think I'll defrost a chuck roast for tomorrow's dinner.)

This slow cooker replaced one that was just too small; same brand, worked well, just too small. This one is large enough to feed my kids and grandkids .

Just what i ws looking for... no spills or steam coming out. Just lock in place & forget about it. Cook it less time than my last crock pot. Best choice I made.

If you are needing to purchase a nice size crockpot then this is the right one. It will be great crockpot to travel with as it comes with its own bag that keeps the food warm.

I was disappointed when my identical crockpot was dropped and cracked and had to be tossed. I searched for a replacement but only Sam’s had what I needed. Now I’m ready to make pulled pork for the family get together next week. Yay!

Love it! I walk with cane and cannot carry crockpot by handles I was carrying it into granddaughters house thru snow and slipped and tilted the pot with the lock on lid locked on and even though there was chili on the lid, there was no chili on inside of pot carrier. I did not leak. I was surprised.

I purchased this crock pot for its size and lid lock. I hope to use this to make and transport food to sporting events for tailgating. It is well made and I really like the locking lid option to avoid spills in the car. It also has a carrying case which is insulated and also is helpful as I store ours in the basement and doesn’t require two hands to carry. I have used it several times and it works well and heats evenly and is easy to clean.

This slow cooker seemed to work well; that is, until I after the food cooked and it needed to just keep warm for a couple of hours (the unit was brand new). The food boiled on the 'Warm' setting, and overcooked. I tested the food temp on Warm, and it was 210 degrees F, above boiling. I had to return the unit because of the malfunction. The bright spot was that Sam's made the return easy.

Box that the Crock-Pot was in was battered when it was brought out to my vehicle. Tried to use it twice and it wouldn't stay on for more than 30 minutes at a time on any setting. Returned it to the store for a refund.
