[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SimpliSafe security was basically what we needed for home security, it was very easy to setup and install with proper instructions. It depends upon what plan you choose but it cameras monitors all motion and record activity that can be viewed later and all the motion sensors on windows works as expected.

The in box instructions quickly directed me to install the app before beginning to install the products. It said to scan the qr code to install the app but it seemed to only take me to the website to download the browser version of an app to purchase additional products and create the account but that wasn't the correct app I needed. I then proceeded to the Google play store where the correct one was easily found installed and Iogged in with the account I already created. The app was very easy to use and guided me through all the steps to install the base station, keypad and all sensors and cameras. Every device is battery opperated except for the base unit and that made it extremely easy to install not having to run wires. Having everything battery opperated my pose to be a pain in the future but I have been assured that these devices will run for months on a single charge. I was extremely happy that the devices connected with just a simple button push on each of them. The keypad is simple and easily arms and disarms without complicated sequences. It also came with a Key chain to arm and disarm. The double sided tape on all the devices seems to be strong but only time will tell with that. The outdoor cameras were only two screws and then magnets held the camera to the base. Cameras can be easily pulled off the magnet charged and put back up. The quality of the images are good and they alert me of movement well but there are no motion zones to set. I also haven't see a way to manually turn on the built in light if needed. The cameras connect quick and I can say its better than Ring with that. Overall the setup and install only took me 1-2 hours but could have been done faster then that. The product is good and easy to install and would recommend to friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this is the best system out there for the money. I pay for the monitoring but their equipment is so easy to use and everything is user friendly. Its def not perfect but better than anything else i have tried. The new outdoor cameras are pretty solid...the battery life if not real though. Needs power for them to work properly and then they are pretty great. Would recommend overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This security system has been great for our use. It was easy to install and we love the option of a camera. While it is not the top of the line security system it has many great features that allow us to feel more secure when we leave our house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Simplisafe Outdoor Security System for about a month. Each component is of the highest quality with fantastic resolution. The best feature aside from safety is the simplicity of the setup. My family and I are 100% pleased and no longer peek through our blinds to see who is at our front door. Last week a delivery service left someone else's groceries at my front door and because of my new outdoor camera, I was able to catch the driver in time ensuring that the food was then delivered to the correct address. I highly recommend this security camera to both business and residential home owners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box, this system is ready to go! It was easy to configure and I appreciate the weight of the keypad - it feels sturdy. The outdoor camera runs circles around other systems I've tried. I waited a few months to review because I wanted to see how it held up during the crazy weather we get here in the south. The cameras have been through tornadic weather, freezing temps and even an ice storm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SimpliSafe system was by far the easiest security system that I have ever installed and used. The outdoor cameras viewing are crisp and with the ability to speak /hear from inside or remotely to the person etc is amazing. This is no Ring app. The security is real. Monitoring of the system is affordable if that's what you want. But the components are high quality and so very easy to modify, add to, expand its really great. I plan on expanding this one at my cabin with more sensors. I cannot say enough good things about the SimpliSafe system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am quite happy with the system so far. It was easy to set up and install, and it covers all necessary outdoor areas on our property. I have not yet had the chance to try the underlying service, though, so my review is, by necessity, incomplete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few days before Thanksgiving and we installed that weekend. We wanted to give it at least a 2 week trial so we could truly be familiar with all functions before giving an honest opinion. Well honestly, we love it! Its got multiple functions and can actually be utilized with or without the purchased service in many ways. The main hub is sleek and honestly not an eyesore to have sitting on your countertop or desk. The control pad has many functions and the countdown is even loud enough to be heard as you're exiting. What I truly liked about it is the clarity of any intruder OR guest arriving. Unlike our old system, you see live and in COLOR everything that your cameras are pointed at. I own a property that has been half converted to both our residence and the entire bottom floor a State Licensed Daycare. I had my son approach our playground area in the backyard and set the alarm off. It is truly as LOUD as they say. I could actually see his entire face with a scar on his forehead, could almost make out the entire tattoo on his forearm, the color of his clothing and all the way down to his shoes he was wearing! The keychain is also a great added feature. The ONLY thing I didnt like and would like to have changed is the backing on the cameras. They are designed for flat, straight surfaces and because we live in Florida and have a ton of rain and storms, we like to install our cameras in the corners of the highest windows on the house. Although these are advertised as weatherproof, corner installation gives you added protection from weather, as well as your clarity remains the same during bad rain storms because the roof ledge keeps all the rainwater off your lens. Other that that, I would've definitely given this system 5 Stars! I highly recommend this product as well as we will continue to use it and most likely expand by purchasing more from Simplisafe as Add Ons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This security system bundle came with everything I needed to set up on my own. Easy to follow instructions, easy setup, great quality viewing. This has replaced my original system I was paying way more for a monthly monitoring for.
