[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the package I was pleased to find all the components packaged very well. The in box instructions quickly directed me to install the app before beginning to install the products. It said to scan the qr code to install the app but it seemed to only take me to the website to download the browser version of an app to purchase additional products and create the account but that wasn't the correct app I needed. I then proceeded to the Google play store where the correct one was easily found installed and Iogged in with the account I already created. The app was very easy to use and guided me through all the steps to install the base station, keypad and all sensors and cameras. Every device is battery opperated except for the base unit and that made it extremely easy to install not having to run wires. Having everything battery opperated my pose to be a pain in the future but I have been assured that these devices will run for months on a single charge. I was extremely happy that the devices connected with just a simple button push on each of them. The keypad is simple and easily arms and disarms without complicated sequences. It also came with a Key chain to arm and disarm. The double sided tape on all the devices seems to be strong but only time will tell with that. The outdoor cameras were only two screws and then magnets held the camera to the base. Cameras can be easily pulled off the magnet charged and put back up. The quality of the images are good and they alert me of movement well but there are no motion zones to set. I also haven't see a way to manually turn on the built in light if needed. The cameras connect quick and I can say its better than Ring with that. Overall the setup and install only took me 1-2 hours but could have been done faster then that. The product is good and easy to install and would recommend to friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product last week. When first removing all the boxes from the box it can seem a bit overwhelming. Once I looked through everything in the box and downloaded the app, it was not a problem to install the system. The app walked me right through everything and it was very self explanatory. The 30 day free trial is very nice to decide which "program" you want to you, plus they also give you a 3 day PRACTICE period so you aren't constantly accidently setting the alarm off & calling dispatch constantly because you aren't used to the system & don't know exactly what you're doing. I love this system. I is great quality, it is reliable so far, and I couldn't ask for a more user friendly system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was pretty straightforward to set up. If you are setting up the cameras, you need to charge the batteries before you can do anything. Setting up an account and downloading the app was seamless. Setting up the base station was no issue. Our house is pretty big but isn't "open concept" so we have 2 different wifi's in the house, and then a third outside to cover our large yard. I initially had trouble setting up the outdoor cameras because I thought they needed to be connected to the same wifi as the base station. When I tried to set them up and take them outside the house to their designated locations they would disconnect from the house wifi (hence why we have a different wifi outside). So I connected the cameras to the outside wifi and the base is connected to an inside wifi and there are no issues. If your home wifi doesn't reach where your cameras will be placed or you don't have designated wifi outside you will have issues. I was also stupidly selecting "motion" from the icons during set up when I should've gone to "cameras" in the bottom tray. I pulled the tabs out of the batteries for the cameras but now I'm wondering if I saw that when I was erroneously following set up for motion detectors. So I'm not sure if that was correct or not or whether we will have issues getting those batteries out to charge them. My husband thinks the tabs were to easily remove the batteries. So I may have messed that up. Once I figured all that out the cameras set up quickly and easily. My husband had no trouble mounting them and while the magnet that holds them in place is strong, it is also easy to place and remove the cameras. The picture is fantastic on the cameras in daylight and very good in the dark, however we have never used any sort of security or doorbell cameras prior to this so I really have nothing to compare to. I don't notice any real lag from the camera feed. Without any paid subscription service I get real time alerts on my phone when there is motion detected and can see real time from the cameras on the app. Not sure how long the batteries will last on a full charge - I may buy 2 more so there is no downtime during charging. So far, we're pleased with this system.

My favorite features are the sensors for your doors and windows. Makes me feel at ease sleeping at night. It's ability to control the system from your phone and the ability to customize it for your home makes it the perfect security system. Its much more affordable than traditional security systems with much easier installation and you can take it with you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon examination of the cameras, my husband thought the mounting brackets were not rugged enough to stand up to the high winds we can experience at our location. They are plastic and loose and would unscrew easily. We chose not to mount the cameras due to this concern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the SimpliSafe outdoor camera package and were successfully able to add it to our current simply safe alarm system. The customer service agent who helped us was knowledgeable and polite. The cameras themselves have good quality both during the day and night, and so far have had a long battery life. We mounted the cameras a little higher than recommended, but still have a clear decent picture. We did not subscribe to video recording, however it is a service we have considered adding after seeing the good quality of video images during live playback.

It comes with 2 cameras, 2 sensors, a key fob, 2 window sensors, a wall panel, and the very nice base station that notifies you if any sensor is tripped. The setup is very easy download the app and follow the app step by step and your home will be safe within 20 minutes. I can rest easy knowing that my family is now safe and sound being monitored by the system.

Seems more of a sample pack than enough for anybodys house. Definitely read the included items list to see if it meets your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to set up the base and install the door monitors and outdoor cameras in 20 minutes. I had no problem connecting to my wi-fi and all the pieces of the system connected with no problem. I appreciate that the app walks you through the process. I'm always so worried that the technology will be the stumbling block for me, but it's easy enough for anyone to do. My favorite part of the system is how the outdoor cameras work. You only have to attach a small plastic piece with 2 small screws. The base has a magnet that the camera attaches to. This means no wires! Also, you can easily adjust the cameras to point just about anywhere. This week we have been traveling, so we pointed our front door camera down towards our welcome mat to alert us to any delivered packages. Then we have a neighbor come to pick them up for us. What an added bonus! When we return we will adjust them to give us a full view of the front of the house. I was worried about how easy it would be to arm and disarm the system. If it's not easy I know that it's not something I'm going to do on a daily basis and the entire system will eventually go unused. Because I can either push a button on the keypad on my way in or out of the house, or I can hit one button on my phone, it's easy enough for me to remember to do. After 2 weeks it's already part of my routine. We don't have pets, but we do have kids. We have found we also use the system to be able to keep watch over them when they're in the backyard or front yard. The cameras are clear and provide a good image. We're already planning to buy other parts of the system so we can monitor our entire house using one system and one app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Simplisafe Security System installed for a couple weeks. It was really easy to set up, the app did a lot of it automatically. So far I am really pleased with the cameras and sensors, no false alarms even with a 90lbs Labradoodle!
