I tried many frozen cod fish. The cod fillet at Sam’s is the best overall. It has a sweet taste, it’s moist when fried, and is the prefect serving size for one person.

Great fish! The portions are just right and the texture was exactly as it should be: firm but not rubbery, tender but not mushy. I prepared them by first dipping them (frozen) in egg wash, then in seasoned bread crumbs with Panko and Parmesan. I baked them in a glass baking dish, covered, on 350 for 45-60 minutes, and removed them from the oven just as the centers were cooked. They were just as good as what you'd pay $20 a plate for at a restaurant. I served them with a mushroom and herb couscous and grilled asparagus. Easy, light and scrumptious! Thanks, Sam's Club! P.S. the cooking time on the package was way too short. You just have to watch them carefully to avoid over cooking, as with any fish. Enjoy.

Easy to pull out just what I need to use because each piece is individually frozen and packaged in a nice proportion size.

Very good thick chunks and well worth the money I ate them with beer batter mix and they were very good

These are very good tasting fish and easy to fix. We purchase a lot of fish from Sam's and they are always to our satisfaction. Give them a try good recipes on the side of the bag too.

These are good for a quick meal - fresh frozen, good source of protein and omega-3s. My only complaint is that they are saturated with water. In order to properly sauté them, they must first be squeezed to get the water out (I use paper towels). Otherwise, they'll wind up steamed or poached in the pan.

I have now buying these at my local grocery store as sams club is 26.94 for 3lbs and im buying it now at a lower price

They are not boneless which can be dangerous to people. I cooked them tonight and found numerous bones.

I've bought Cod Loins (frozen) over the years. And, simply, these are not the same quality as in previous years. The best ones I found were not individually wrapped. In these, about half had "grey", 2 had "dark grey" - that's not premium product for Cod Loins. That suggests it's a bit sup par cut to actual Cod Loins. We ate them, but had to use seasoning. The better Cod Loins we didn't need to do that with.

Not sealed (cryovacked) correctly, but I thought I'd give them a try. I let them defrost in the fridge per the directions, but they were EXTREMELY watery. I used several paper towels to pat them dry and seasoned them. I pan fried them in a little butter and they were somehow dry inside. VERY disappointed! Won't buy again.
