These cod loins are delicious. They're thick, meaty and tasty. I can bake or fry them without them falling apart. Will definitely purchase again and again.

Great fish! The portions are just right and the texture was exactly as it should be: firm but not rubbery, tender but not mushy. I prepared them by first dipping them (frozen) in egg wash, then in seasoned bread crumbs with Panko and Parmesan. I baked them in a glass baking dish, covered, on 350 for 45-60 minutes, and removed them from the oven just as the centers were cooked. They were just as good as what you'd pay $20 a plate for at a restaurant. I served them with a mushroom and herb couscous and grilled asparagus. Easy, light and scrumptious! Thanks, Sam's Club! P.S. the cooking time on the package was way too short. You just have to watch them carefully to avoid over cooking, as with any fish. Enjoy.

The cod loins are packaged in individual portions and are the perfect size for each individual in your house. Easy to prepare and very tasty

I was pleasantly surprised at this cod. The texture is firm, not mush like some frozen fish. The taste is mild. Holds up well on a grill or pan cooking. Great for fish stew.

These are very good tasting fish and easy to fix. We purchase a lot of fish from Sam's and they are always to our satisfaction. Give them a try good recipes on the side of the bag too.

I tried many frozen cod fish. The cod fillet at Sam’s is the best overall. It has a sweet taste, it’s moist when fried, and is the prefect serving size for one person.

These are good for a quick meal - fresh frozen, good source of protein and omega-3s. My only complaint is that they are saturated with water. In order to properly sauté them, they must first be squeezed to get the water out (I use paper towels). Otherwise, they'll wind up steamed or poached in the pan.

This fish is okay. I expected better. I usually buy the Walmarts brand but for time and convenience I purchased this will at Sams. Now the cuts are thick I cut the in half. But the turn off were the red lines in the fish. I stop eating Krogers brand because of this. I google it: could be veins or worms. Also it is more expensive, no worms/veins in Walmarts.

I've bought Cod Loins (frozen) over the years. And, simply, these are not the same quality as in previous years. The best ones I found were not individually wrapped. In these, about half had "grey", 2 had "dark grey" - that's not premium product for Cod Loins. That suggests it's a bit sup par cut to actual Cod Loins. We ate them, but had to use seasoning. The better Cod Loins we didn't need to do that with.

My wife and I typically buy haddock fillets. We thought we would give this codfish a try. We decided to cook it in a casserole dish with a little bit of butter and Ritz crackers. We cooked the fish to the recommended temperature of 145°. We were excited to sit down and have it for dinner. However, it was the worst fish we have ever eaten. I never had a piece of fish that needed a steak knife to cut. It was very chewy and had no flavor other than the butter and Ritz crackers. I did never really if something was just OK we would tolerate it, try to eat it and just never buy it again. However, this was so bad that we actually took it back to the store and got a refund. It's very rare that I ever return a food product to a store but this fish was just horrible.
