Cod loins are good but the cuts are a disappointment. They used to be more even in that the size, weight, shape were reliable. Now it’s either long and skinny or short but never the “same as last time “.

Cod comes with each piece prepacked vacu-sealed bags that are frozen. When you decide to make your fish, take what you need. I have made fish and chips and fish tacos so far and the fish tastes great. Flakey and tender with a mild taste. I recommend these cod loins .

One of my favorite fish. Flaky, mild and great taste. This should be a five star rating, but I am still learning the best way to cook. I prefer grilling in my air fryer, but you have to keep a close eye to make sure you do not over cook. Once overcooked, they seem a bit dry. I will probably try cooking in a skillet next time.

The cod had a perfect texture for fish, and it cooked up quickly and the little one's loved it. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Look forward to serving this to the family again. the portions of the cod were just right for the family.

Wild caught for healthy and tasty lunch or dinner. Handy to keep in the freezer for individual or family meals. Each portion is frozen in a sealed pouch to be ready when you are. Plan ahead by putting in the refrigerator to defrost or if you are in a hurry, place the pouch in a bowl of lukewarm water for fast defrost. The firmness and light flavor are pleasing. Cod is a favorite main course with a couple of sides or dinner salad topping.

I always buy frozen cod filets but when I saw the frozen Cod Loins, I decided to try them. I marinated them in lemon & lime juice, soy & duck sauce then grilled them on top of the stove in a grill pan. The loins are short and very thick. I will keep the loins and the cod filets on hand as I can stuff the filets for a nice change.

The Pacific Cod Loins are excellent both in taste and in value. They are thick rather than the thin fillets. I cook them with hoisin sauce. There are a lot of Loins in the package. I buy them often because they are easy to prepare and they taste so good.

Oh my goodness, this fish is soooooooooo good! I saw it online and decided to try it since I have to cut back on red meat and am getting a little sick of chicken! I can't eat shellfish, either! I tried this and was totally and pleasantly surprised! I generally cook it in a grill frying pan, very simple. No bones or anything else to be worried about either. For a healthy and delicious dish, don't hesitate to get this! This is coming from a former New Englander and seafood guru!

Always have confidence in purchasing this product. I like the ease of cutting open the plastic encased individual pieces. I wrap the frozen filets in aluminum foil, then steam them with seasoning in a skillet with boiling water. When I wrapped the pieces flake nicely, and there’s no fishy pan to scrub clean. (I had read on a post somewhere not to defrost fish products like this first, due to bacteria being encouraged. Cooking from frozen is efficient and productive.

Tender. But I have never bought cod before. Not for sure how to cook it yet.
