Great product, terrible instructions.

The craftsman ship is great and it is nice and sturdy. With that being said, the instruction manual appears to have been written by a 5 year old. They actually send a generic instruction manual that applies to all of these sets, and then depending on what specific model you purchase, you need to modify it. But they put the actual instruction manual that you need in the tube slide box, so you don't see this until you get 2/3rds done. I spent 18 hours putting this together by myself. I built the main house and got to the end and found a different manual, so i had to take half of the main structure apart and re-do it. The tube slide and mounting hardware to stablize the slide do work like shown so i actually had to modify my hardware to get it to work. My set was also missing the hardware to attach the top peak on top of the main house. I think there were also a total of 6-8 bolts that came in as blanks and not threaded at all, so i had to go find some to make it work. If you can get through all the pain of putting this together, it is well worth it. But it is a really poorly written manual.

Disappointing Purchase

I have three kiddos 9-years-old down to under 2-years-old, and we have always had an outdoor playset. When we moved last summer (2020), I knew I needed to purchase a new set for the new house. I was very picky to make sure the set could handle my three kiddos as well as any friends that may join them when playing. First off, the playset is a lofty project to put together. Instructions are not the best and some parts are pretty difficult. Took my dad and some other helpers, including myself, a few days to put it together. When it was assembled, I noticed how it was so much smaller than I expected. The swing bar is advertised as "extra-wide A-frame"; however, the swings are placed so close together that my kiddos would hit elbows if they were swinging at the same time. The tower also swayed pretty bad even when I was just pushing my 20-month old in a baby swing to where I didn't feel that it was safe. If my two older kids were swinging, it was super unsafe. I ended up having to buy a separate swing set that just had the three swings on them, so I could feel comfortable with my kids swinging and using the tower. It advertises that it can handled up to ten children with a maximum weight of 110 per child. I only had a max of 2 children on it at one time - neither that weigh even close to over 100 lbs. and the swing set couldn't accommodate it. The description is extremely in accurate. Maybe it could accommodate that many toddlers. With the cost I spent, I am very disappointed with this purchase. Even after we finished assembly, I called to see what my options were for returning it due to the size being way smaller than expected, and they told me that I would literally have to take each piece a part and repackage it somehow. There was no way that would be possible, so I just sucked it up and kept it, not knowing that it would also be unsafe when my kiddos were swinging. After just 4 or 5 months using it from October until now, I had to take down the majority of the set and put up a new swing set that would be safe and allow my kids room to swing. Now I have unmatching sets in my background, and I wasted tons of money with the original purchase of this set. So not happy, especially after researching so many play sets and their kid and weight allowances!! Definitely did not meet our expectations in any way!!!

Impressed with the product....just one con

Just finished putting this together this past weekend to surprise my daughter on Christmas morning 2018. A friend and me put it together over 3 days and overall it was easy to assemble. It is involved but I think that is what makes it such a well designed and assembled product. The construction and assembly does not cut corners. Be patient with it and def plan on 3 days assembly time. You will need a buddy to help. Organize the parts and keep parts in the bags until you need them. All the hardware is marked and easy to identify. Wood was not warped or cut wrong. Everything fit well. The tube slide was a different story. That took us a whole day to assemble. The flange on each tube does not line up well and you have to really force it together. We would get one hoop side on and just push screwdrivers through the holes to hold it there until we could get the other hoop on and then connect both ends of the hoops with a long bolt. As we drew the hoops together it lined up the holes so we could put the bolts and lock nuts on. It was not easy!

Lovely playset for smaller children

We bought this as a playset for our 2 year old. For her, it’s perfect with room to grow. Quality seems good and it was decently easy to assemble. However, when we purchased this set, we did so with the idea that our neighbor kids would most likely play on it as well. But it just doesn’t seem big enough for them and they are ages 6-10. The 8 year old was swinging on it and the whole playset swayed which made me super nervous. It just doesn’t seem like it’s for the age group that it states. Overall it’s a very nice swingset. But I am disappointed and having regrets now because I was hoping it was bigger and sturdier.

Great for 2 years then falls apart

We bought this 2 years ago and it has been great and well loved by our now 5 year old son! However if you are looking to have this for a long period of time don’t buy. The tube slide is literally falling apart. The brackets are breaking in rows and our son has not gained much weight he is still very tiny for his age. The maintenance has been upkept and taken care of well as we look to keep this for longer than what we have. Very saddened by the fact it is falling apart and we can not find replacement parts. It is like pulling teeth to find how to order parts. Ugh!!!!

So Far so good

We are almost done with the build! It is going smoothly. The only issue was the set came with 3 different instruction manuals. Unfortunately we started with the wrong one and had the main club house almost completed when we had to take it apart and start again. Make sure you open all the boxes and find the instruction manual that specifically mentions the set you bought. Otherwise the build has been a breeze.

Disappointed

I loved this swingset and everything about it at first. I have a 14mo th old and she loves climbing the wall, the kitchen, but especially the swing. However, my 8yr old neighbor came over to swing. And when he would swing the whole main structure would sway left and right. I had to tell him to stop swinging cause I was afraid the whole main structure was going to tear in 1/2 . So 2 starts just cause I’m concerned with my baby getting older if ur can really hold up and also I spend a lot of money for something that’s not super sturdy

Falls apart quickly

I bought this for my kids and it was a nightmare to put together. We followed instructions and even hired a professional to help. A few months later the tube slide has now come all apart and I need a full replacement. All the rings are popping off and it's no longer safe to use. Would love for someone to contact me as this is really unacceptable.
