Cake was Very good! However, the ease of ordering and adding a photo is not convenient! You can ONLY order a cake online, and you can Only add a photo in person. For this reason, I will NEVER order a cake from Sam's Club again!

The cake tasted & looked great. Everything was done exactly as I had ordered it. The only thing I didn't love was being limited with ordering online.

Roanoke Virginia, Sams Club did a beautiful job on my Dads 88th birthday cake. Ordered the day before & it was ready at my requested time the next morning & done perfectly. Whipped icing was truly the ICING on the cake & absolutely delicious!

The cake was beautifully decorated and very good. It tasted fresh and not like it had been sitting in a freezer for weeks on end. I was very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered a cake for my nephew's Memorial dinner and the writing was SO close, some of the letters ran into each other. The taste of the cake and color was OK, but many complained that the icing had a terrible aftertaste. So much of it was trashed. There was no phone in the bakery. I could not get help from Sam's customer service and could not check on the cake. Only got an email after I was on my way. Would have loved a heads up.

The full sheet cake was just two half sheets very close together but do not let that discourage you. The cake was moist, the frosting although a touch thick on the edges was very delicious and didnt have a grainy texture. Butter smooth and just the right sweetness. The decorating was great. Although your choices of decoration are only a few, it was obvious the person who piped it knew what they were doing. Great cake thanks

The new custom order process is horrible. It’s not actually custom and there is no way to leave notes for the staff. You’re limited to a few options. Please reconsider this process. I showed up to pick up a cake that was not what I expected and had to wait while it was “fixed” and I still had to go home and doctor it so it would be presentable for the event. Speaking w the decorators was much easier and if you want to eliminate that, add more options and a comment section.

There was a bug flying inside the box fir starters. They just opened it and let it out. They offered to remake. ( of course a few hours) we really didnt have time to wait. We ended up taking the cake anyway. We figured food out at grad parties etc have bugs flying around. It was gross but we needed a 85th birthday cake by 1. It was around 11. No attempt was made to discount or compensate us in any way. also, the message / decoration on the cake was was like a wrinkled picture. The letters were not made of frosting. The red frosting used for the roses clashed with the red used on the print. All in all we were very disappointed it looked terrible

I had reservations about trusting Sam's with a photo cake, but I needed something for a large group. They were offering the biggest one in my area, so I gave it a shot. Not only did they completely ignore the photos I supplied, but the actual message on the cake looked like a kindergartner's handwriting. I'm also confused as to why there is an entire app (that they force you to order cakes through--I was told no orders in the store), yet you have to print out your photos, bring them to the store, and depend on some dimwit to actually add the photos to the existing order. They could literally just have you upload the image when your order via the app so that it's guaranteed to be associated with your order. That would likely solve a lot of the miscommunication issues they clearly have. I realize the cakes are inexpensive, but it's not an excuse or justification not to deliver a service.

It was perfect! Just what I envisioned. Couldn’t ask for a better cake! The picture was perfect and the cake was moist! Excellent all the way.
