I didn't know what to expect when I bought this washer. I had never purchased an LG appliance before. I love it! My old washer left clothes wrung tightly and tangled. This washer leaves clothes loose but still wrung out. My clothes feel like they have been gently washed clean!

This replaces our 30 year old top load washer. Going back to the market place this many years later leaves you overwhelmed with advances in machine washers. Unit must be loaded with all kinds of sensors talking to on-board computer. Much to learn as to why it does what it does.

But the detergent/softener tray remains full of water after the cycle ends and must be emptied manually (awkward), and the water level and temperature controls do not work - All I can do is pick a cycle and hope for the best, a little worrisome!

And I just Love the way it lets you know when it's completed wash with the Little Tune it plays at the end of cycle of Washing.Thanks

The fabric softener dispenser is defective and will not come out and will not dispense the fabric softener. How can I get another one? This is only 4 months old. Otherwise I am happy with this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased near the end of August and put 6-7 loads of clothes thru it the next day. At first disappointed at the low water level but then used ‘deep fill’ and got more water in the tub. Old washer (20 years old) allowed me to set size of load for water fill. I’ll just need to get used to the water input and like it as all new washers are water sensitive.

Purchased after our washer quit. Wasn't sure if we would be pleased but we are very happy with it. It's quiet when running and the ability to adjust the amount of water in tub is great. Does a great job on washing clothes and very happy with the way agitator works. Does not rattle and shake even with large load. The only thing that is a little annoying is the buzzer when it's finished, sounds like an ice cream truck tune.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG washing machine 3 weeks ago . I wash alot of laundry. Cat blankets and clothes for 3 adults. It is amazing how clean everything is . Love all the features and the little tune it sings when it's done. I use it every day. Washes rugs, sheets, cleaning cloths. I would recommend this machine very highly. Works great !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the washer but i dont love it. I don't like the sensor, it doesn't give enough water to really give a good clean for some loads. I more likely to wash a small load than to overfill. I've noticed I have to stop it sometimes and select the deep fill option which turns out to be too much. And I can't reach the bottom without a step stool but that's a me problem not LG's problem. :)
