Love it!
Have this machine for about 3 weeks. It replaced my 17 yr old Roper, also had a direct drive motor. Roper no longer has Direct drive, I noticed my whites are whiter, and all my clothes and towels come out much softer. I use mostly the normal setting, and use deep fill only when the load is large. So far I love this washer.

Good but needs water level adjustment capability.
It works well on larger loads but there is too little water on small loads. It needs to have more water level adjustments. I have no complaints about the cleanliness of my clothes in larger loads but some things don't even get wet when you have a small load.

Poor Water use
The water levels in some of the wash selections is a joke. Using the Normal selection for small loads is useless, the clothes had barely enough water to get wet let alone wash. I have ended up just using the Deep Wash and Deep fill. So much for energy saving.

Normal setting lacking water
Normal setting lacks enough water. The clothes look llike their getting beaten with the low water level and in some cases the clothes are dry on parts of them.

Completely impractical
I purchased this for washer a month ago. While the see-through lid is nice, I would not recommend this machine to anyone. First, you can not let whites soak. You can fill up the drum with the water and press pause, but after a few minutes the machine drains itself and you have to start the load all over again, wasting water and soap. This is absolutely inane. Second, there is not enough water in the speed wash or normal wash settings. The point of a speed wash is that it is supposed to be fast! You also can't wash clothes with no water. If I add extra rinse, it becomes a deep fill wash and then takes almost 2 hours. Who has that kind of time? This machine is not practical at all. Don't waste your money on this machine.

Takes to long for delivery
ZERO STARS! Don't bother ordering this online. I have been waiting for mine to be delivered for a month now and the tracking hasn't moved. When I call about it I keep being lied to about the delivery date, 4 different times to be exact. I have no idea when it will ever show up, very disappointed -loyal sams club member

This is what you're signing up for when you buy an LG. Scrud all over your clothes. Reoccurring. Nightmare. You will clean it or have it professionally taken care of and then have to do it all over again because there is something off with this machine.

Horrible
The machine leaves detergent on clothes, it takes forever for the cycles which have no data saying how long they will be, worst of all if it goes off balance if continually fills and drains. Once I came down and it had been doing it for 4 hours. Would never recommend and wish I could get it exchanged.
Nothing but Brown Flakes on Clothes!
Leaves SCRUD all over clothes despite following all the recommendations (not too much detergent, do cleaning cycles, etc etc). Old washers didn't do this, so it's frustrating these new ones do. Not even a full year old and it has been happening for months.
