Customer reviews for LG 4.1 cu. ft. Top Load Washer With Agitator forMember photos
A moldy paradise
We noticed the detergent dispenser was moldy so we moved and scrubbed it out. After running a clean cycle, it just keeps turning up more and more slimy gunk from underneath. We do clean it regularly, we don't use fabric softener, and we don't overuse detergent. It's two months out of warranty, and support was no help. Now I am stuck, trying to remove and clean the agitator myself.
Hello, Daz. We appreciate you sharing your time sharing your review about your LG WT6105CW Washer. We always aim to deliver a fresh and hygienic laundry performance for your home, and we want to help ensure your appliance functions reliably for your daily household needs. Start button doesn't work
At first, the Smart Start works fine, but after a while it stops working and won't let you start the washer. You can still use the app to start it, but if you haven't already connected it to the app, you're stuck. I even paid someone $250 to come out and fix it, and a few weeks later the exact same thing happened. Total waste of money.

Dissatisfied with cleaning
I have had my machine for two months and am not happy with the cleaning of white clothes. Transitioning from an older lg top load machine i had a higher level of expectations. This current model has no soak cycle but washing white clothes is a nightmare. My towels have pink stains that appear mysteriously so I bleach then normally but with this new machine they do not dissappear. I have changed bleach, added oxyclean and even attempted multiple times to pause the machine to attempt soaking to no avail. The machine when paused and even powered off drains after 10-15 minutes. I am so disappointed because my previous top load lg was high efficiency with no agitator work very well for over 10 year and I never had issues like I have cleaning on this machine.
Hello. We appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback regarding your LG Top Load Washing Machine, model WT6105CM. We always aim for our laundry appliances to deliver exceptional cleaning results, fabric care, and advanced efficiency for your peace of mind. To help improve washing performance and manage stain removal effectively, we recommend using the Bright Whites or Heavy Duty cycle paired with a warm or hot water selection, ensuring you use a high-efficiency (HE) detergent at the proper dosage, and loading items loosely around the drum rather than packing them down. Since high-efficiency machines are designed to automatically drain water during prolonged pauses for indoor safety, we suggest utilizing specialized cycles or cycle modifiers to optimize wash duration rather than manually pausing the unit. Hello, Beryl. We appreciate you sharing your experience regarding your LG Top Load Washer WT6105CW. Trying to like it but not winning
I've had this machine for almost a year now and I cannot figure out why it doesn't wash well! The amount of powder residue I have on clothes is unbelievable. I switched from my front loader to a top loader with agitator because of research, thinking I was doing the right thing, but this machine does not. Clothes don't get wet enough, everything gets pasted in a bundle and residue no matter how I add the soap, shows up on everything. This machine has become more work for me than anything I've had and I really would like a replacement. I have tried everything. Help me out LG I'm trying to be a supporter.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the WT6105CW. We’re sorry to hear that the washer has not been performing as expected and understand how frustrating it must be to deal with residue and cleaning concerns, especially after trying different methods. For this type of concern, we recommend ensuring that the load size is appropriate and evenly distributed, as overloading or tightly packed items can prevent proper water circulation. Using the correct amount and type of detergent (HE detergent only) is also important, as too much detergent can lead to residue buildup. You may also try selecting a cycle with a higher water level or using an extra rinse option to help improve rinsing performance. If the issue persists despite these adjustments, a service inspection may be helpful to further assess the unit and ensure it is operating properly. We truly appreciate your feedback and your willingness to continue supporting LG—it means a lot to us. If you order this be ready to put up with 3rd party delivery non-sense. the date of delivery is not the date of delivery. they text the day before and ask you to confirm the date by scheduling it on a calendar that is grayed out for the day and day after it was supposedly supposed to deliver. Then when you call Sam's customer service they can't do anything until after the delivery date misses. If you accept a later date just to get it scheduled then it is no longer late because it is the date that you chose. This is a very deceptive practice.

Check before purchasing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please make sure when you buy washers to make sure they can handle your loads I only added midway to leave room and like the other comment specified after having it for almost 2 years after the one year warranty it stopped spinning on the “spin cycle” you are better off getting a front load with a better wattage, this washer is only made for smaller loads for a 2 person household
Hello. We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG WT6105CW Washer. We always aim to provide appliances that deliver excellent performance and reliability for your laundry needs, so we want to help ensure your unit is working efficiently. When a top-load washer experiences issues spinning properly during the cycle, it is often related to an uneven load distribution or an engaged child lock setting. We recommend ensuring the clothing items are distributed evenly around the drum without tightly packing them, as an unbalanced load can automatically prevent the high-speed spin cycle to protect the machine. For a detailed walkthrough on how to resolve this specific behavior, please visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-washer-troubleshooting-washing-machine-drum-not-spinning--20150584818000. It's called integrity
Received call setting up install date of Monday June 8, 2026. Time of delivery window 9 a.m. to 2p.m. Going on 5 p.m. no call. Simple question...What's your obligation to workers that take the day off??? Also, what is your obligation to call consumer for follow-up on non delivery. So extremely rude!
Hi, Dave. Thank you for sharing your review regarding your LG Washer (WT6105CW) model. We understand that taking a day off for an appliance delivery is a big commitment, and a significant delay without notification disrupts your schedule. We are fully committed to helping you find a smooth and reliable path to resolution regarding your delivery status. Because deliveries and installations are coordinated through regional logistics networks and local delivery hubs, we recommend taking these immediate actions to trace your unit: (1) Check the Tracking Portal: Use the delivery confirmation link from your initial text or email receipt to view the real-time GPS location or updated status notes from the driver. (2) Verify Retailer Routing: Since scheduling windows are typically managed directly by the point-of-purchase dealer or their contracted freight carrier, contacting Sam's Club customer service at 888-746-7726 can provide immediate routing updates. To ensure your washing machine arrives safely and to address your delivery concerns, please email us at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com with your order and purchase details for further assistance. ^Juvy
Extremely POOR design!!
When you allow the machine sensor to determine the water level, shine of the clothes do not even get completely wet. I have to use the deep wash on every load. Each load takes an entire HOUR! That is double the time of my old washer. It also requires that three tub be put through a cleaning cycle periodically which means you have to buy product to clean the tub(if you don't, your clothes will start to smell bad!) Horrible washers in the market today. The older models are SO much better
