I bought this watch to replace a Vivoactive 4. I really like my Vivoactive 5 except for it changing my watch face back to the original face that came on the watch when I purchased it. I chose a new watch face and my watch changes it at least once per day. If anyone has a work around for this problem, please post it to me.

This is a great watch/health device. For me it’s easier to use than other watches but I’m more into well-being than sports. It’s user friendly, looks good and I enjoy the app. Sometimes I can get annoyed with the prompts to get moving but thats honestly on me and I need the prompts.

I’ve had the Vivoactive 5 for a few weeks now, and it’s truly been a game changer! It’s not only motivated me to stay active, but—more importantly—helped me prioritize getting enough sleep. I’m still discovering new features, and I love how user-friendly it is.

This watch was an exchange after my Vivoactive 4s died. It is not as responsive as the 4s. I find myself having to tap the screen to see the time, whereas the 4s was responsive to just the movement on my wrist. The crystal also seems thinner. I already have a chip in it. Overall, I preferred the 4s.

I have had this watch for a little over 2 weeks, and I am so impressed with it!! It has a great display and I love the touchscreen feature! I have also really enjoyed the morning wake up feature where it goes over my sleep and the weather for the day!!

I received this as a birthday gift from my family after inquiring about one because my son purchased one. This watch is amazing. I had an Apple Watch and was frustrated with the battery life as well as the measurements being off during work outs(even after calibration). The Garmin is everything the Apple watch isn't plus more. Great watch and I appreciate the phenomenal battery life as well as all the features and being able to sync the data up to Strava and other apps make it a great choice for a smart watch. Keep doing what you do Garmin cause you have a great product.

I've had this watch for a few months. After tweaking what I want it to do, notify me to this and that. Turning off the sleep mode and others things I have no need for, it still sends a nightly reminder asking if I'm awake. I don't sleep with it on my wrist. I have no sleeping issues. I worked shift work 40+ years, I know how to sleep when time allows. Way to many alternative sports loaded on here. With all these different types of activities, you would think hiking would be one of those. Nah had to down load one from the app store. It's great for what I use it for, just not into challenges and letting the world know I road 50 miles.

After my last Apple Watch (my third) needed charging every few hours, I decided to shake things up and try something new. The Vivoactive 5 was recommended to me by a family member and I have had it for a couple of weeks and could not be happier with it. Awesome features, light weight, and the tracking and health data are amazing. All this plus more at a fraction of the cost.

The Garmin Vivoactive 5 fulfills every functionality I desired in a smartwatch. It's reliable, feature-rich, and built to last. It excels at doing the important things exceptionally well, which is why I bought it. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, comprehensive smartwatch that won't break the bank. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. I have always loved my Garmin watches and I was hesitant to upgrade from the 4S to the 5. I personally love that the watch face is larger than the 4S. Easy to us, love all the different features and I feel like all the tracking features are very accurate.
