Great TV, over complicated Bluetooth connections

Stunning picture quality. My apps load & view with no fuss. I'd love to give a 5 star rating, however, the need for THIRTEEN individual steps, via the TV remote to connect my S#ny bluetooth wireless headphones is abysmal. When I connect the same headset to my iP#d, all I do is power the headphones on & THAT is IT, the iP#d does the rest. You seriously need to improve on this.

We bought this 4K TV to assess the quality of video from a 4K camera since there is very little being broadcast or streaming in 4K, at this time. The TV is of very good quality and has a lot of internet streaming options available. Don't much care for the "We'll be right back" breaks in the streaming service. It has only 2 HDMI inputs ... could use 2 more. The Signal Strength meter is difficult to get to when assessing over-the-air reception.

Great picture but very poor reliability

I have bought three of these TVs including one to replace the one that stopped working 2 weeks after it was mounted. I have one of my bedroom that still works and I love it so I cannot give it zero Stars but a television ceasing to work 2 weeks after it was hung his totally inappropriate. I have had Samsung televisions in the past and have never had these kinds of issues. Sam's is working the return but I will tell you if you are somebody who works everyday it's going to be difficult because their company that is supposed to handle the shipping of your TV back only wants to do it during the week. That is really an inconvenient thing if you have a full-time job

Pre-loaded programming issues

The TV itself was nice with good picture. It kept freezing up often, but only when playing the Samsung pre-downloaded channels. All the other channels worked fine. After much research and making sure the system had all the correct updates we found this is a common problem with this TV. We returned it to Sam's and they refunded our money quickly. We then bought a slightly more expensive Sony 65” TV while we were there and absolutely love it. Can't beat Sam's for customer satisfaction, and we are completely satisfied with the new Sony we purchased. We like everything about it more.

Worse than my other 5-year old Samsung TV

Nice picture and functionality, but there were 2 things that my old 2018 Samsung TV was doing better: 1) It could play pretty much any video format. Now lots of my old videos do not play anymore. Usually it works the other way - newer TVs have more capabilities, not less. 2) We watch a lot of videos and movies using a USB stick. The old TV was doing a quick preview with several frames from the movie when you select a file. And if tit's a season with multiple episodes you could find the one where you stopped. Now it's one still image which cannot tell you much. And it's not playing from where you stopped watching last time anymore. The old TV did that! I've almost returned it, but it's pretty big, doesn't fit in my car and that was pretty much the only reason why I kept it. My whole family wanted to get some other TV instead.

The pictures look great but the TV keeps disconnecting from internet. I have tried all the fixing methods posted on the review but only unplug/re-plug or cold reboot works. I have to do so multiple times a day and it's so annoying. I have contact Sumsung customer service but still no solution.

Why did I switch brands

I replaced my 55" Vizio with this Samsung. Setting it up was a pain because it wouldn't connect even though I have strong wifi. The sound and picture are both good, better than the Vizio, but that TV was about 4 years old. What I really dislike about this is the remote. Most everything that I use on the remote is toward the bottom, which makes it uncomfortable to hold. It's also hard to see in dim light. Another dislike is the way it is set up to begin with. Maybe I was too comfortable with Vizio's set up, but Samsung seems to be more difficult to navigate. I'm hoping that I will get used to this and enjoy it.
