After years of waiting for my ambassador barrel to mature, booking a flight and hotel, I was notified they would be closed less than 24 hours before my tour (scheduled for 2/19/21). Despite calling and leaving voicemails to inquire about other options to visit and buy a bottle from my barrel, no one ever got back to me. Other distilleries were quite welcoming and accommodating, making me a new and loyal customer of theirs since I can no longer support anything Makers Mark related after such an awful experience.

I am just getting into bourbon and I was told that Maker's Mark would be a great place to start. Well after having Makers I do not know if I want to even try anything else. It is smooth and flavorful and is everything I want when I am craving a drink. I am so glad I was pointed in their direction.

Maybe they should rewrite the song to say "you're as smooth as Kentucky bourbon" instead of Tennessee whiskey because holy moly is this smooth! No burning after taste is versatile enough to stand alone or mixed, and is pretty reasonably priced too!  

Being my favorite drink, Maker's Mark has earned it's status as my "Private Stock" selection. Consumed usually on special occasions, this is the smoothest, most flavorful and aromatic of all my bourbon whiskey selections. Pairs quite well with Captain Black pipe tobacco. Also pairs well with my wife's home made chili! I have been a Maker's Mark conniseur at least a decade! Do not change anything!

I use Maker's Mark Bourbon Whiskey the traditional way, in a tall shot glass and sip and enjoy. Also came down to the distillery in August with my son, and had the best time on tour. Also we were able to purchase a few bottles of Makers Mark that I had my name on a barrel. Finally opened the special bottle with my name on the label. You are doing a great job, also our tour guide was very informative about all your products.

Maker's Mark is what I serve to ALL my friends and guest. It is the best tasting, smoothest bourbon I have ever tasted in my 75 years. Please never change it. Everyone I serve it to always ask what it is, I tell them and that is when they switch to Maker's Mark.

Maker's Mark has a special place in my heart as it was introduced to me at a very special party held in my honor. It was served with dessert, neat. My previous aperitif experience was all sticky and sweet products. This was an amazing blend of flavors with the room temperature bourbon and the dessert...just amazing. Now, I drink it before dinner as well. I highly recommend Maker's Mark for either occasion. You won't be disappointed!

To me this is absolutely the best bourbon you can get! Not only did it meet my expectations it exceeded them! I have purchased Maker's Mark so many times I couldn't even begin to tell you. The packaging is fabulous with the wax dipping and dripping off the top. The flavor is phenomenal! It can be a little pricey but it's a top shelf bourbon what would you expect? I have a small, private, self funded, English style pub near my real estate office in rural, eastern Virginia where my friends meet. I serve draft beer, stock 90 to 100 spirits (mainly bourbons and Scotches). Makers Mark and Laphroaig the most popular beverages I serve.

So I've been a huge fan of Makers Mark since I was given my first bottle when I got home from my first deployment from Iraq. It was the USMC Camp pendleton addition one, Since then it's been my go to whenever I'm out with friends. I personally drink a "Maker's stone sour" which is obviously a Markers sour but with a splash of orange juice. Please try it if you haven't! I've now been to the distillery twice!
