- 5 out of 5 stars review4/24/2023Really enjoyed my bottle of makers. What made it more special is that it came from my barrel and even had my name engraved on it. Beautiful place to visit and was so much fun to dip our own bottles. Really enjoyed their many variations of old fashions.

You bring it to your nose and the fragrance United you for a taste. Just the right amount of kick ti get things started then the smoothness sets in. It's like that bug from a friend you've not seen in a long time. Settle in for a long conversation. That's what you want in a great bourbon. Makers Mark 46 is that friend that's always there.

It has an amazing history and you can truly taste it in their bourbon. The signature red wax is one of the coolest parts and you can always identify their brand. I highly recommend this bourbon especially to new bourbon drinkers but anyone can find a batch they will enjoy here.

I once gave my friend a pour into his glass before he could get his bottle of jack opened. We then watched a whole fifth of jack swirl down the sink, amd he has never touched another whisky since.

What I like about is the great taste it has You can make some great bbq bourbon rub with it . So it's a really great product at the end of the day . And there isn't nothing I don't like about this product

It is the best tasting, smoothest bourbon I have ever tasted in my 75 years. Please never change it. Everyone I serve it to always ask what it is, I tell them and that is when they switch to Maker's Mark.

My husband and I are big fans of spicy bourbon and this is fantastic. I have nothing to improve. It has great flavors and is in the higher end but depends on where you buy this. The heritage and legacy of this bourbon brand confirms the care that goes into every bottle. If you want a bold bourbon with a smooth finish get yourself a red dipped bottle of Maker's Mark.

I used to have MM/Diet Coke but I had to give up Coke so now I have MM and Ginger Ale and I think I like it EVEN better - if that's possible. My ONLY gripe is the red wax seal. I have arthritis in my hands and many times I have to ask for help to open it initially - Heck, one time I didn't want to wait so I used my teeth - probably NOT a good idea !!

I’m Irish so there was ALWAYS Irish whiskey around every family gathering including Sunday dinners growing up & I could never get into any, even the highest end Jameson... closest was the secret Lagavulin 16 my uncle kept (he married into the Irish lol) I branched out from “vodka soda splash of cran!” when I started working on the service industry around really great bartenders. I had my first Manhattan and was sold. I very quickly leaned into just bourbon on a single ice cube bc honestly there’s nothing you need to add to any variation of makers mark to make it better. I especially enjoy Maker's Mark over ice and a splash of seltzer, but it also makes a wonderful Manhattan too! Oh it is also wonderful in Pecan pie or pumpkin pie too! Sometimes I cheap out and buy a cheaper product, but I always regret it! Spoil yourself and drink the best bourbon on the shelf-Maker's Mark, life is short!

That was 35 years ago. It's part of me now!!! Love the taste. Thank You. I also have a barrel and dipped my own bottle. Still use that bottle and buy the bigger one and refill it because It also has my name on it. Keep up the good work!!!!

We have come together to form the Edwards AFB "Desert Rats" Association. Every other year we hold a reunion somewhere in the United States. At each site, we arrange to have plenty of Makers Mark stocked by the bar; in fact it is in the contract we negotiate. We have thus far cleaned them out of their stock of Makers Mark, and we are proud of our accomplishment and heritage we have created.

He’s the one who taught me how to make an old fashion and now I always make sure I have makers in my decanter for when he stops by to visit. I love tossing a shot of it in my tea when I’m sick, making bourbon martinis with it or just having a classic old fashion at the end of a long day.
