- 5 out of 5 stars review2/10/2021I should mention, right off the bat, that I’m not much of a drinker. In fact, I’m reviewing this whiskey because it’s the “secret” ingredient in my homemade vanilla bourbon ice cream. Maker’s Mark is perfect in that ice cream recipe because the whiskey itself is full-bodied, flavorful, and smooth. It mellows beautifully in an ice cream because it gives the batch a distinctive bourbon flavor without making the final product taste “booze-y.” Unlike other whiskeys I’ve used in the past, the Maker’s Mark also plays nicely in the freezer, and doesn’t cause unpleasant ice crystals to form, leaving the finished ice cream smooth and delicious.stephs56Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 4 out of 5 stars review12/13/2023For those who have been down the Bourbon Trail we know that this is not a Top Tier bourbon BUT it is a Good bourbon. Maker's Mark is a good every day drinker and does mix well. Doesn't give the Kentucky Hug as much as others so it is smooth. I do enjoy a Maker's Old Fashioned and always have a bottle on hand.
Good ever day drink

Consumed usually on special occasions, this is the smoothest, most flavorful and aromatic of all my bourbon whiskey selections. Pairs quite well with Captain Black pipe tobacco. Also pairs well with my wife's home made chili! I have been a Maker's Mark conniseur at least a decade! Do not change anything!

The last time we came to buy bottles from our batch we stayed in Louisville. We were introduced to the Old Fashion. This is now my go to cocktail. We love them. And on occasion, Bourbon Bloody Mary.
Makers Mark forever
TimOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review1/9/2020Have been a Maker's Mark customer since 1993 and an Ambassador since 2012. It has been great to see the expanded product line since 2010. Where my liquor cabinet previously only had one bourbon, I now have five expressions of Maker's on hand. All different, all the same quality. Loved our trip to Loretto last July and the Heritage Tour given by Mr. Samuels. A day we talk about to friends often. Keep it Maker's !

It's very smooth compared to other brands and is a very warm tasting drink with slight vanilla and caramel notes. I also love the wax dip at the top of the bottle. This bottle is a little pricy but you definitely get what you pay for.jacquelyno3Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review1/24/2021To me this is absolutely the best bourbon you can get! It always exceeds my expectations every time I drink it. My hubby has purchased Maker's Mark so many times I can’t even begin to tell you. The packaging is fabulous with the wax dipping and dripping off the top. The flavor is phenomenal! It can be a little pricey but it's a top shelf bourbon what would you expect? I have used this in making bourbon cocktails. A mixture of Maker’s Mark with strawberry coke on the rocks is the best. I absolutely love Maker's Markabbyo31Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review1/29/2021Bourbon is our house liquor and Maker’s Mark doesn’t disappoint! We keep the 1.75L on hand at all times. Smooth, flavorful, and very easy to drink whether on the rock or mixed into a cocktail. I also use it in baking to replace vanilla! Reasonably priced and available at all grocery and liquor stores. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great bourbon.innatsshoesOriginally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review9/10/2019I use Maker's Mark Bourbon Whiskey the traditional way, in a tall shot glass and sip and enjoy. Also came down to the distillery in August with my son, and had the best time on tour. Also we were able to purchase a few bottles of Makers Mark that I had my name on a barrel. Finally opened the special bottle with my name on the label. You are doing a great job, also our tour guide was very informative about all your products.
Great time at Distillery
Wyoming CowboyOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review3/30/2021Maker's Mark is a classic and a staple in my house. It's nice and smooth, light and sweet. It's affordable, widely available, and does what it's supposed to. It's the whiskey I always reach for at the end of a long day- I like it neat, husband prefers on ice.sophian26Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review3/19/2021This is our go-to bourbon. He's been a Makers Ambassador for years and I became one last year. We love this bourbon! Very smooth, low burn and if ypu let it sit in a decanter for a few weeks, you get flavors of honey and caramel. Pairs nicely with a med bodied cigar.maluhia20Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review9/10/2019Ran into MM's Indiana rep while shopping at my daughter's place. She was wearing a Maker's Mark shirt and was very accommodating to an old Ambassador and asked about my cask (down to my last bottle with the name plate!). Anyway, it's good to know you have employees as nice as your bourbon!

CurtOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review4/2/2019The beautiful multi-page ad in this month's Gun and Garden Magazine made me proud to have an almost empty bottle of Maker's Mark on the shelf with several dusty and unopened bottles of bourbon. The best the ad was the page with mint seeds. It is a shame that so many readers must have passed over that brilliant page without understanding what they saw. If it were not for being a long time lover of Maker's and having done time in the advertising racket I might have not gone back for a closer look. My copy has already gone to my sister who has two young grand daughters who get excited about things like the seedy page.
Yes!
SkeezyxOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review8/30/2022Neat, on the rocks or in a Manhattan, Makers is the best made bourbon there is !! Makers has it all, from everyday to the very special occasion bourbon !! My friends, family and coworkers all drink Makers, mostly for the taste but also for their loyalty and tradition!! Bottoms Up !!
Nothing says bourbon like Makers !!
DuffOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review6/14/2025Maker’s Mark is a smooth, easy-drinking bourbon that’s great for sipping or mixing. It’s a little sweeter than most thanks to the wheat in the recipe, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and just a touch of spice. The iconic red wax bottle is a nice bonus. Perfect for bourbon beginners or anyone who wants something reliable and tasty without breaking the bank.

katyb131Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/27/2018I'm glad that Maker's is not one of the brands that you can't get hold of. All these other brands have priced themselves out of the common sense market. To me, Maker's tastes as good as any Bourbon on the market. I always enjoy Maker's during the holidays.
I'll always be a Maker's drinker. I enjoy the pleasant taste
Bourbon BredOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 1 out of 5 stars review1/15/2019Love my Maker's Mark whether it be on the rocks or with a touch of water to draw out the flavor. Been an ambassador since 2012 and my wife has been since shortly thereafter. Here is one problem we did run into with the Christmas decorated 1.75L bottles that we purchased during the Christmas holidays. By applying the green wax over the red wax it was very difficult to get to get the top off. Each one took at least 20 minutes resulting in a lot of work and a little nicking up of the hands. There may have been an easy way to do it but we sure could not figure it out. Just thought I would pass this along to you.
Excellent, smooth taste!
Z-manOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review1/26/2022I drink Maker's Mark products and have not found one yet I didn't like. I also have a large collection of Maker's Mark bottles. My only complaint is last year a very, very limited number of collector bottles in three (3) different design labels were released the same day. It was almost impossible to buy more than one (1). I went to four stores in Lexington and all were out within 45 - 50 minutes from opening the doors. I have been very disappointed in your decision to market these bottles in such a thoughtless manner. It is a disgusting blow to Ambassadors and collectors!
Upset with Collector Bottle Marketing
TomOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review1/29/2023At the end of a long work week, my friends and I like to fix us some drinks and sit by the fire and unwind. Maker's Mark Whiskey is the perfect drink to either start the night or end the night here. Sometimes we don't end until the sun comes up, but it's always a great time!
Good drinks with great friends
Slick Stacey PorterOriginally posted onMakers Mark - 5 out of 5 stars review10/20/2020Makers Mark Bourbon Whiskey 175L Bottle is a bourbon that goes down smooth and easy. It’s not one that is so strong it’s hard to enjoy. It’s made with soft red winter wheat as opposed to rye. And, of course the iconic red wax seal on the bottle they’re famous for! They have a free ambassador program on their website. You not only get an ambassador kit in the mail but, something even cooler, IMO. All new Ambassadors are assigned a barrel of Maker's Mark. Your name will be engraved on a placard which will be affixed to a newly filled barrel. Once your barrel has finished aging, one-of-a-kind Ambassador bottles from that batch will be available for purchase with your name on the label.
