A wonderful expression of Maker’s Mark

This is the standard by which all other bourbons should be compared. It is perfectly balanced and smooth. The cask strength designation makes it a wonderful gift for anyone who regularly enjoys Maker’s Mark.

I'm no longer buying any Makers products

After years of waiting for my ambassador barrel to mature, booking a flight and hotel, I was notified they would be closed less than 24 hours before my tour (scheduled for 2/19/21). Despite calling and leaving voicemails to inquire about other options to visit and buy a bottle from my barrel, no one ever got back to me. Other distilleries were quite welcoming and accommodating, making me a new and loyal customer of theirs since I can no longer support anything Makers Mark related after such an awful experience.

    Great bourbon

My husband is a huge bourbon guy, but specifically makers mark. He loves this cask strength and it's his go to bourbon for drinking straight or using in a mixed drink.

    Love the smoothness

This is my go to bourbon. It had a smooth mouthfeel and superb taste. I also appreciate the affordability of this bourbon over others of lower quality.

So worth trying. Great value !!!!!!

Tried this for my Birthday, now I’m hooked. It was smooth enough to drink straight. I can’t wait till this weekend will be taking to our family cook out.

The balance of caramel, vanilla, and subtle spices makes each sip enjoyable and approachable, perfect for both newcomers and seasoned whiskey lovers. So smooth

Nothing like a home made old fashioned with Makers on the Fourth of July, sitting by the pool watching the sunset. Makers is excellent in just about any mixed drink or even over ice by itself.

    The Best Weekend Drink

My favorite weekend drink. Love the rich oak smokiness, can have it either straight up or mixed in. No bitterness or weird aftertaste. I can take it straight up or mixed in.

    Smooth taste, full flavor.

Great “anytime” bourbon! Its smooth taste and full flavor is excellent for old fashions and other bourbon based cocktails. The bottle is also very eye catching, which makes it easy to spot and request when at a bar or restaurant.

    Good option

Excellent option for the price point. It’s a light but rich bourbon. It an everyday drink that goes well neat or to be used as a base for bourbon drinks.

    Solid house bourbon!

It is a great staple house bourbon. Works great as a mixer for cocktails. As a woman I like the taste and often it is a go to for me. I love the vanilla undertones.

Always a winner with this one!

Top tier whiskey for a nice smooth drink in the rocks. Goes down as smoothly as it should. Leaves a perfect aftertaste leaving you wanting another sip. This drink is never a miss.

    Smooth bold true whiskey taste

This is a smooth true whiskey great for old fashions and whisky sours. The bottle and sealed wax finish is pleasing to the eye for a bar display. Won't leave you filling like you drank a sugary whiskey.

    100 Marks for Makesr Mark

Maker's Mark is a premium Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey renowned for its smooth, sweet, and approachable flavor profile. Distilled in Loretto, Kentucky by Beam Suntory, this wheated bourbon is typically bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof). Unlike many other bourbons that use rye in their mash bill, Maker's Mark substitutes red winter wheat, creating a softer, sweeter taste. Its distinctive red wax seal makes it instantly recognizable on shelves, symbolizing the brand’s craftsmanship and heritage.

    Makes a perfect Old Fashioned!

Makers is our go to for a good Old Fashioned! Here is a great recipe! 2 oz makers, 2 dashes bitters, 1/2 tsp simple syrup, orange peel. Try pure maple syrup in place of simple syrup for a more homey taste!

Easy to drink, easy to love

Maker’s Mark has become one of my go to bourbons. The red wax on the label always makes it feel a little special, and the warm amber color looks great in the glass. It has a smooth, medium body with that easy sweetness Maker’s Mark is known for, caramel, vanilla, a little oak, nothing harsh. I like it neat or with a couple ice cubes, and it also mixes really well when I’m making simple cocktails. Overall, it’s a solid whiskey for pretty much any occasion, whether I’m just unwinding at home or having friends over.

    Why Maker’s Mark Stands Apart

The first time I tried Maker’s Mark was at a new American-style bar that had just opened in my town, and it immediately stood out to me among the other whiskeys on offer. Where many bourbons can lean heavily into spice or harsh oak, Maker’s Mark feels softer and more inviting. It has a rich, buttery mouthfeel, balanced by a gentle sweetness with notes of vanilla that never overpower the palate. Compared to other whiskeys I’ve tried, it’s noticeably smoother and less aggressive, making it easy to enjoy without rushing the experience. The finish is warm and lingering rather than sharp, which gives it a sense of depth without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of whiskey that encourages you to slow down, savour each sip, and settle into the mo...

    Decent Bourbon

Very interesting and deep bourbon whisky. It’s not my go to but I do not mind it at all if it’s what’s available. I know lots of friends who enjoy this drink on the rocks. Smells very strong and goes down decently.

    It’s ok

I’m not a big whiskey fan but this is ok, it’s strong and it has a nice woody flavor pairs well with coke or Pepsi. The packaging is nice and the seal is really good you will for sure notice if it was broken off
