I thought this came assembled. Not sure if I misread the description. Overall it is good and has held up for the past month but one of the pieces was slightly bent and now it is not securely put together because of it. Not sure if that'll make a difference in the long run but returning it seemed like a lot of work.

I purchased this Zinus box spring. In spite of my having arthritis of the spine, I deceided to try to put it together myself before getting help. I was able to do it alone. It was very easy to assemble. My matress fits on it perfectly. I sleep soundly and extrememly comfortably. I highly recommend this product.

After a week this box springs is creaking. It’s not even that we’re extremely large. My husband and I have a combined weight less than 400 lbs. I don’t know if it’s because you have to put the box springs frame together, or what. I got this because I could get it shipped to my house, but I would have been better off with one of the preformed ones from Big Lots.

Can't believe that a box spring that comes out of a 12" X 12" X 78" box works so well

Was skeptical about putting together a box spring, but decided to try it because the price is very good. Well now, it is just as sturdy as traditional box spring. Adding nine inches of height, it also is nice looking.

Easy to assemble. Love the removable, washable cover. Also love the fact that this will last for years and can be easily disassembled if we move. No more buying cheap foundations that collect dust and inevitably end up on a landfill.

very nice, you do have to put it together yourself but its easy to do, no more sounds with getting in and out of the bed I'm glad I got it me and my mom have ordered this box spring and I'm going to order one for my son.

Just what we needed. We are mounting our headboard to the wall and wanted to be higher off the ground. Works perfectly. The cover is nice but not good for show. We’ll need a bed skirt to cover the swirls

First of all, I didn’t realize I would have to put the frame together myself. Once I put it together it was a bit heavy for me and my daughter to carry up the stairs. There was not enough room to put it together upstairs. It was also too tall so we did scrape the wall a few times. In addition putting the cover on wasn’t easy either. Seems to be sturdy but I would recommend two twin boxsprings vs one large one. Much easier!

I did not expect this to come in a box, ready to assemble. However, it only took about 15 min to assemble and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the steel and wood frame. We are using this with our memory foam mattress and noted an immediate improvement from our previous board thin base.
