I found the Fresh Step odor shield clumping cat litter to work effectively whether you have one cat or multiples. It combatted odor and had minimal litter and dust tracked outside of the litter box. It clumps quickly and stays clumped when scooping out the litter box making for an easy clean up with no remnants left behind. I would definitely recommend this cat litter.

The most telling thing about this litter is that my cat, who is usually sensitive to change, didn't mind this litter! It don't upset him in any way and he continued to use his litter box like normal. The litter did exactly what it claimed to do: it clumped well and made sifting easy. It also trapped odors well; we never smelled foul odors while testing this litter. Fresh Step Odor Shield is a good cat litter that makes maintaining your cat's litter box easy and provides solid odor control. We give it two paws up… recommend!

It clumps and is very easy to scoop and clean. The dust is hardly there when dumping or scooping. Our household loves the odor shield having multiple cats.

The litter has a clean appearance and fine texture that’s easy on their paws. The clumping is strong and tight, which makes scooping easy and messy free. The odor control is amazing and it keeps the smell contained for days without being overpowering. The scent stays fresh, but also subtle. The durability is great and it holds up between litter changes. Love it!

I used to buy semi-clumping, odorless, dust free litter sand but got tired of it not eliminating smells. So, in order to test the Fresh Step odor shield, i put it in a single use litter box on a trip, lining it up w plastic cover and whenever we're on the move, would fasten the plastic cover and put it in the back of the car. For three days, even without cleaning it, I smelled nothing in my car or in the hotel room!!! Even after my cat took a dump, after being buried, u wouldnt smell anything. This odor shielding feature must be the best in the market. Also, clumps really well, does not go into small pieces when picked up, odor shielding, and although a lil dust gets off when it's poured, my cat didnt sneeze and has no allergies towards it. Packaging for litter. I prefer a plastic jug since it’s easier for storage. But that’s not a dealbreaker for me. I would repurchase!

I prefer other brands, and I find that this one doesn’t clump up pee quite as well as the one I regularly use. It had a mild scent that fortunately wasn’t too strong, and the cats didn’t seem to know the difference (or care). It’s not my first choice, but it’ll get the job done.

Kimchi, Sashimi, and Mis are not afraid to speak their opinions and minds literally! This litter does its job of clumping together any messes, helping to cover the odor that comes along with it. Overall, the density was nice of the litter , the packaging is bright and catches your eye, and is the easy to dispense litter from into their boxes. Maybe a little bit too much dust for my boys. Other than that, it’s been holding up well I did mix it with my other litter!

The awesome clumping power means that pee clumps are easily removed for even better odor control and for maintaining a clean litter box. My cats immediately started using their box when I switched to this kitty litter.
