[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter has a clean fresh scent that actually smells pleasant without being overwhelming. It clumps very well making scooping easy, and my cats had no issue using it. There is a little dust when pouring, but not enough to be a major problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is as advertised- I was very surprised to easily be able to smell the fabreeze smell as I poured the litter. Very fresh and pleasant smell, but I could still smell cat odor. The packaging is accurate at 1 month = 1 cat. The pour spout made adding the litter easy, and box weight was manageable. My cat didn’t seem to kick up or track out as much litter going in and out. Easy to scoop and dispose of waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although these cardboard type boxes are more environmentally friendly, I do have to keep this one away from my cats that love tearing up boxes, naturally. Now, the scent isn’t bad on its own but paired with dust, it’s awful to breathe in. Scented litters all tend to suffer from this problem which is why I prefer unscented. There are other ways to tackle odor control (activated charcoal filters, ventilation, etc) that are much easier to deal with than a dusty litter. And unlike the lightweight litters, it’s much harder to manage this when pouring. The litter itself is effective but I’m just in the camp in favor of unscented. I don’t like to associate a good scent with litter; the correlation becomes negative. Which is a shame because this could very well be a great litter instead of good if that wasn’t the case. While not a terrible option, and usually affordable, I just can’t see this being my go-to over my current favorite. But like cats have food preferences, litter preferences can be unique to each household. If you like scented litters and have a covered box, you may love this. This one just isn’t for me.

It smells really nice and I think it has some of the best odor control of cat litters that I've ever used. I had no trouble scooping it out. All of the urine had clumped and it did not break apart as I was scooping it. I do think that this is a bit expensive. I don't typically buy this brand. It does track quite a bit and I had to put down a mat to stop that. As with any later that's not lightweight it's heavy but I honestly don't mind that. I do think it produced a decent amount of dust so if dust is an issue or concerned for you then you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, if it were in my budget I would buy this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Fresh Step Odor Shield works great for covering up litter box odors. Our litter boxes are down in the basement and usually you get hit with some smells while down there. This certainly has helped mask the smells. The Febreze aroma is also nice! The clumping power is similar to other brands, which is a positive! I also like the size of the container, as I am actually able to carry and pour this on my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever we change the cat litter, our little black hellion sits nearby waiting for fresh litter so he can defile it. And we feel safe knowing Fresh Step Odor Shield is going to contain whatever stink bomb he throws our way! Seriously, this litter is great for small places. We keep the litter in our son’s room because that’s where the cat mainly lives but we scoop it every day so there is very little odor. The Febreze scent adds a nice touch but isn’t overwhelming either. The particles are just the right size that our cat isn’t flinging litter everywhere and the smell is mostly contained. I’d rather have the litter in a jug than a box because it’s easier to carry and pour - plus both are recyclable in our area, which is a bonus. The box is just a little more awkward to use, which is why I took away a star.

It is a really good scent, and leaves the litter box smelling more fresh. I think this is a good option for use. I have two cats btw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as clumping clay litters go, this one is FINE. I prefer other brands, and I find that this one doesn’t clump up pee quite as well as the one I regularly use. It had a mild scent that fortunately wasn’t too strong, and the cats didn’t seem to know the difference (or care). It’s not my first choice, but it’ll get the job done.

I usually only use fragrance free cat liter so I was hesitant using this litter. My cats did use it, I'm not sure if it did much with odor, but my cats haven't had a weird reaction to it using it for over a week now.

There is a fresh scent too that keeps the house smelling better and controlling odors. The packaging is easy to use and carry. I bought 3 more boxes of this stuff. My cat is also happier.
