[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cat litter box is in the Rec Room inside a small dog kennel so the dog doesn't get into the litter. So it's important that there is no odor in that room where we congregate at night. This works great.

We scoop twice a day, but even then it can get smelly. Fresh Step not only seemed to mask the smell, it also neutralizes it. The dust and tracking are very minimal too-- a must with five little monsters!

However, since it went to its new packaging which is ALL IN PLASTIC AND IS SHRINK WRAPPED, I don't care for that AT ALL. It was much easier to carry when it was in cardboard with two 19lb boxes inside! Wish you would go back to the old packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using for ever. My neighbor can smell anything but she says she would not know l have two cats in my house. She can never smell the litter box. Only thing is I have hardwood floors and you can see it on the floors. Even with the litter mat and rug l have in front of litter box.

I have three cats. Any other litter seems to become very smelly very quickly. Fresh Step seems to mask the smell more than any other can manage to. I have shopped around occasionally and tried other litters- both cheaper and slightly more expensive. And I keep coming back to this brand every single time.

First of all, it is terribly misleading to say this doesn't track. It not only tracks, but becomes like mud and sticks to my cats, as well. Once out of the litter box, my cats have to walk across 10 feet of carpeting, and I am still finding litter in my bed where they go to nap. Second, it is crazy to say the dust is minimal. There have been a bunch of times where my cat smells like the Febreeze scent and when I go to kiss his head, I taste it. I bought three boxes of this stuff because the brand we normally get wasn't available, and have regretted every ounce of it. I used one full box and part of the second box, but am planning to just pitch the third box.

I have six cats and two litter pans which get scooped twice daily. The addition of Febreze to Fresh Step eliminates odors from the litter pan in between scooping. There also seems to be less dust from the new litter than there used to be. Great product!!!

First off, let me say that Fresh Step is the only kitty litter my 2 furbabies will use. I have tried to save a few bucks and buy cheaper litter and it just does not work for them! Since they are the queens of this castle, I buy them what they want. I tried a box of the Multi-Cat with Febreeze and I even like it! I love the smell...and I especially love the love dust formula! I have 2 litter boxes that get washed and litter changed once a week, so the dust did add up! I also scoop quite a few times a day, so I love the lower dust formula!!

I've used Fresh Step MultiCat for 2 years now. I tried a couple other litters when I first got my 2 cats (I think Arm & Hammer and Tidy Cats), but found the this one formed clumps way better, which are easier to remove. My cats do tend to track a bit of litter out of the box, not sure why. I haven't noticed a big difference in scent with the Febreze added, but I have recently realized it really does have less "dust" than its old formula. When I used to pour a new box/bag in the litter pan, it would kick up a cloud of dust. Now it does not. Great job! Thanks!

Two years ago I switched from Arm and Hammer Cat Litters- and never went back. I wanted to try something else because I felt like the litter was not controlling the smell and I was adding baking soda and deodorizers. Silly, huh? I have 3 cats. Two are strictly indoors and one is indoor/outdoor. I usually alternate between the multi-cat and the odor shield litter. I have 3 large covered litter boxes and keep them fairly full. I clean the litter every 3 days and I don't even dump all the litter out and start over. It has not been necessary to dump all the litter out when cleaning as the boxes are not smelly. I NEVER smell urine in the boxes and only smell poop when one of the cats JUST went and it's not covered yet/properly. I tried the extreme odor control litter and it smelled too much like perfume. Didn't like that at all. I can also compliment the newer versions of litter that have less dust. They really do expel less dust into the air and don't make everything else in the room smell like cat litter.
