We normally buy fresh step: We bought the fresh step with febreze. After my cat used the litter box he started throwing up. This went on for 2 weeks: the only thing in 2 weeks that we changed on him was the litter. I saw that everytime he went into the litter box & came out he would throw up. So after 2 weeks of this i went back to the normal fresh step with NO FEBREZE in it and he was fine after 1 day. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN!! beware if this happened to your kitty!! Could be the litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Fresh Step cat litter for a few decades now. I've tried others but they never measure up and I always go back to Fresh Step. I've decided not to even waste the money trying others anymore. The new formula with the fabreeze scents are really rather amazing. My house never smells like I have 5 cats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only litter that doesn't make our one bedroom apartment smell like a zoo. In fact, even after several days of dirty litter from two cats (the litter box is in the living room), guests can't smell a single thing. We have tried many litters but we will never buy anything but fresh step. Ever. It's the only one that works.

The idea is good in theory, but one bag doesn't cover the bottom of an extra large litter box. I end up using two at a time for the extra large box and one for a regular box. Because of that it just seems like a waste with the extra plastic bags. The litter is great, but gets four stars for the waste and the amount isn't really a bargain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh step is the BEST cat litter I have ever used I am not sure what they do but it controls the smell so well, I kid you not my friend it's the best!! I have used every brand out there and I always come back to fresh step. Use it once and you will know what I mean!

Although I only have one cat, he's pretty big, and he's a very aggressive 'digger', but he tends to hit the box off-center sometimes, and the Multi Cat formula helps to control excess dust and urine smell, especially when he doesn't mange to cover it all up. Fresh Step has always done a great job of absorbing odors, to the point where people who visit are surprised to see I even have a cat, in my small apartment. Looking forward to also trying the 'Hawaiian Febreze Extreme', because it seems it could use a just bit more scent to my liking.

I have been using Fresh Step litter for many years, and was excited to see the new Febreze line with the "Lower Dust Formula." There is the same amount, if not MORE dust, with this new formula. I'll continue to use Fresh Step, but I hope something can be done soon about truly reducing the dust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 3 older cats I needed something that would cover the smell of the litter box. This makes my whole bathroom smell great. I love the ease of the cleaning the box the clumping works great.. no more urine in the bottom of the box to clean out because it did not clump. Great stuff!!!!

I have been an avid user of Fresh Step for years! It is one of the only litters that I can actually say with certainty that it really works! NO ONE can smell that we even own a cat, much less two of them. I have never walked in our home and noticed "that smell" the way I have when entering other peoples homes that do own cats. Fresh Step works, and is really takes care of the odors, AND it stays clumped and doesnt break apart. I definitely will continue to use it and recommend it to all my furfriends!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this for quite sometime but was short one week and went with Tiddy Cat..that was a mistake. When I went to scoop the clumps fell apart and the litter smelled strong of urine. Never again will I stray from my Fresh Step with frebreeze
