It keeps the smell at bay for over a week, the litter does not get everywhere( one of my kitties is messy) compared to non clumping & other clumping litters, also clean up is super easy... scoop and trash lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've always used TC litter and decided to try this Fresh Step. The smell was one of the best things about it. Even when the Cats "use" the box, the littler and room still smelled fresh and clean. I was very happy with it and its performance.

I bought the multicat Fresh Step because the light litter was not working. Therefore, I bought a box of Multi Cat with Febreze. It is not working as well as it used to. It is not clumping very well. It needs to clump for the automatic litter machines.

I always ask people if the house smells like cats when they come in just because I'm worried I'm used to it. But they always say no! When I walk into the areas where the cats' litter boxes are, I can never smell anything but the fresh smell! And believe me, they're all mess machines.

I've used Fresh Step for a couple years now and it is still my favorite brand (I tried about 12-15 brands prior to this). I have two cats and it does a great job of clumping and of odor control. This is my first purchase of a box of F.S. that advertised lower dust and I was very happy to find that the dust was in fact less, since that had really been my only criticism in the past. I usually buy Multi-Cat Unscented but this was what was available this time around. This particular variety works as well as my usual as far as clumping, however I personally just don't prefer the perfumed scent. It doesn't seem to deter the cats, though, which is a big plus.

I have been using Fresh Step for a while because it has always clumped well and it's easy to keep the box cleaner (no crumbly bits). I was a bit skeptical to try the Febreze Fresh Step since typically choose the least scented variety available. I was pleasantly surprised that the scent is not overpowering at all, and definitely not 'perfume-y'. As with most clumping cat litters, it is a bit dusty, so take caution when pouring it straight from the box at any height. I avoid a lot of the extra dust by pouring the litter from the box into a small pail in the garage or outside - dust issue solved! Once in the small bucket, it's easy for me to carry around, and I use a small pet food scoop (one that's dedicated only to clean litter!) and scoop the needed amount from the bucket into the cat box.

I am even considering getting a few boxes to my local cat shelter because cats and their guardians deserve good, well clumping litter.

There is never any order, even when I am in the room with both litter boxes. I highly recommend Fresh Step, I have been using the product for over 15 years and will never change to another litter.

I purchased this particular litter by accident - our household go-to formula is Unscented Multi-Cat. The power of Febreze is simply OVERpowering. The fragrance is an assault on the senses and made my home smell like every Uber-X in San Francisco. In other words, harsh, artificial, and potent. And then our poor cat was crying every time that she went to urinate. It was stinging her. We quickly ran to the store to purchase UNSCENTED. That resolved the issue immediately.
