[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's better that most clumping litters, I just don't like clumping litter in general, because it sticks to the bottom of the pan and to the scoop as well. This one did too. I liked the fragrance, though, it always smelled nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 cats and one of them has a "sensitive" digestive tract (i.e. he's been known to clear out the house after he uses the litter box). I've used fresh step for years and was a little leery about the febreze addition because I like my litter to smell clean not fragranced. It does not smell fragranced and my house does not smell like cat litter. I have a box on each floor and so ample opportunity for lots of smell. The lack of smell allows me to have a litter box right outside of my living room, and its the box they use the most.

This product works better than what I started out with, but I still have a bad smell whenever something fresh is in there. I think this is less about the product and more about my cats as they seem to forget to cover up their feces so the litter probably doesn't work as best as it can. Whenever we catch it, we try to cover it up ourselves and the smell seems to disappear quickly. A good sign that it works like it should.

We live in the country and have 7 cats, 5 that were "dumped" and not the least bit feral. So we had tried most of the litter brands out there. Fresh Step has emerged as our favorite as it clumps well, the cats like it and with the added Febreeze is even a better choice for a clean smelling house.

Fresh Step is the best scoopable litter. I live in a very small apartment with two big cats so odor control is important. I have had odor problems with every brand of litter EXCEPT the Fresh Step. The Fresh Step litter doesn't seem to create as much dust as other brands either.

I've decided not to even waste the money trying others anymore. The new formula with the fabreeze scents are really rather amazing. My house never smells like I have 5 cats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I would try this once as we have two cats. One of our cats has sensitive skin. She broke-out in a big rash and scratched herself raw after using it. She let us know she was not happy with the litter by doing her business in our walk-in shower. We switched back to the normal Fresh Step. It took her a while before she would step into the litter box again. She is now happy to be back using the old version with out the Febreze

Started using this litter when we got a second cat; scent is fresh without being overpowering, litter has low scatter (seems to stay in the box), and there is minimal if any dust. The clumping is good, but occasionally they fall apart a bit. Even when we forget to scoop for a day or two, there is no "tell-tale" smell...hooray!

Just when I thought Fresh Step couldn't get any better, they did it again! Adding Febreze was a brilliant move. I admit, I was a bit concerned that my cats wouldn't take to it because of the scent, but they love it! And of course I do too. Another excellent product by the makers of Fresh Step.
