[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a house with 6 cats, 2 are outside and 4 are inside. The inside cats all use Fresh Step Multi-Cat with Febreze. We had a friend give us a box of another comparible brand and it did not measure up. Fresh step multi-cat lasts longer and controls odor longer. Fresh Step Multi-Cat is once again the family favorite.

As long as the Tiger and Rudy are happy and we have no smelly room, then I am happy. Also I like the fact that the dust is lower now when you pour into the litter box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this litter for almost ten years now. i have tried other cat litters but none of them have worked as well as fresh step. I have multiple cats and everyone who has visited has remarked that they can't smell the cats, like they can in other peoples houses. I give all the credit to FRESH STEP!

This litter is the best at masking litter-box smells of my 3 cats. I'm happy you can walk into my home without being overwhelmed by pet odors. My only concern is with the boxing--sometimes the litter is too heavy for the cardboard and plastic strap to handle, and it will rip open at the top. Overall, I always use Fresh Step!

This by far is the most convenient liter to use. Works great by controlling odor. I also love the new packaging that is offered! The 34 lb package is convenient with the four separate bags. It is nice to get ALL of the liter out of the bag as opposed to the box, that has a lot of liter inside that is difficult to get out. Much easier to handle.

The only critique is that the litter sometimes sticks to the bottom of the litterbox and is hard to remove. Maybe you could add something to the litter to keep that from happening?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this litter for yeas and buy the largest bag available. I have 4 cats and they all love it. They have left me "gifts" in other places when I have purchase other brands when in a rush. I will be a loyal customer for my best friends.

I was so disappointed to see that Fresh Step is not available in an unscented variety. I have bought this product for years and it met my every need. Now, I have a scent I do not want in my kitty area. Why? Why? Why? I have begun searching for alternative litter products - unscented. Fresh Step is still a great product, but it is not so great anymore.

Two years ago I switched from Arm and Hammer Cat Litters- and never went back. I wanted to try something else because I felt like the litter was not controlling the smell and I was adding baking soda and deodorizers. Silly, huh? I have 3 cats. Two are strictly indoors and one is indoor/outdoor. I usually alternate between the multi-cat and the odor shield litter. I have 3 large covered litter boxes and keep them fairly full. I clean the litter every 3 days and I don't even dump all the litter out and start over. It has not been necessary to dump all the litter out when cleaning as the boxes are not smelly. I NEVER smell urine in the boxes and only smell poop when one of the cats JUST went and it's not covered yet/properly. I tried the extreme odor control litter and it smelled too much like perfume. Didn't like that at all. I can also compliment the newer versions of litter that have less dust. They really do expel less dust into the air and don't make everything else in the room smell like cat litter.

I have been on the hunt for years for the best cat litter with no luck! I seen that they had came out with the febreze scent and also seen the price was a little higher than others. I decided to take a leap of faith and try it out and I am very pleased!! It’s definitely worth the money! It clumps without making a mess and I noticed my cats don’t throw it across the room like they used to!! So over all it’s been amazing trying this stuff out! I recommend it highly! The smell last for awhile and you really can’t smell the odor of urine and feces. You’re left with a fresh scent. We have two cats and the bigger box has lasted us well over a week and I still have some to spare. It was the best choice trying fresh step!!
