We live in a tri-level home and have three cats on the bottom level, five on the second and two on the top floor. People who come over never know we have cats. There is a hint of Febreze fragrance not too far from the litter box and it's pleasant, not strong and overwhelming. It's the only litter we trust.

But I noticed the scent immediately when I opened the box. I am well pleased with this litter. It clumps and holds together to allow for effective scooping and seems to control odor.

When Fresh Step, which already had superior odor control, put the power of Febreze into its kitty litter, I just had to try it! It is definitely the way to go. I have never found in all my searching for a good kitty litter anything to beat this one. I am totally sold!

Last week I was sick and didn't clean it out as often as I should have and there was still little odor coming from the box. Not because my cats didn't do their business, but the febreze seemed to mask the smell pretty well.

Would have given it 5 stars but I don't know if you changed the product, this box has no sent in it and it is very fine and dark. my cat will not even go in it. Please tell me the contents were wrong, I've been using multi-cat extra strength for 17+ years.

Since I bought the Febreze freshness there is not one bad odor and the only way you know the cats did their thing is from the humming of the litter robot when it activates.

This cat litter is very lightly scented, which my cats really appreciate, since it's not irritating to their noses, but there is enough of the febreeze in there, that it keeps the smell of cats' waste out. This cat litter is also heavy enough, that it stays inside the litter box and doesn't get tracked inside the house (I have placed the cat litter boxes in the garage) as I observed with other brand's "light weight" cat litters.

I was terrified that I might not be able to handle the smell of a litter box in the house with the arrival of my first pet kitten. This clumping litter with Febreeze took my worry of lingering smells away. It worked well to control odors. I don't know if I will ever be able to try any other kitty litter that does not include Febreeze in it.
