I have tried almost every brand, with multiple cats, hands down Fresh Step clumping litter controls odors the best, for the longest length of time. I was so happy when I finally got round to trying Fresh Step, it is truly amazing at controlling litter box odor.

We have been using Fresh Step for years with multiple cats. People have walked into our house and said, I can't believe you have 3 cats - I don't smell anything! We have never and would never use a scented product, such as this one with Febreze, but I'm sure it works just as well.

I tried this litter last month and instantly was HOOKED! I have 4 cats of my own, and foster kittens, so my litter boxes are always being used, and the smell was out of control. With Fresh Step Multi Cat with Febreze, the odor was practically eliminated!

I switched from another main brand to this and it has made a difference! There is very low dust and kickup when pouring the litter. My cats dont tend to track this trough the house, either. My favorite and most noticeable difference is the smell, or lack thereof. This litter keeps the smell totally undetectable with my 2 kitties!

And this stands up to the test. I also like that it's not really dusty (the dust kicks up my allergies) and that it cleans up really easy. I definitely recommend this or any Freshstep product!

I have been an avid user of Fresh Step for years! It is one of the only litters that I can actually say with certainty that it really works! NO ONE can smell that we even own a cat, much less two of them. I have never walked in our home and noticed "that smell" the way I have when entering other peoples homes that do own cats. Fresh Step works, and is really takes care of the odors, AND it stays clumped and doesnt break apart. I definitely will continue to use it and recommend it to all my furfriends!!

I have tried multiple kinds of Fresh Step, but I always go back to this being my favorite. Lasts longer than the new Clean Paws version, clumps really well & does an excellent job of covering the ... “solid waste”... too- literally! The Febreze covers well without being a very heavy scent. Both of my cats use it without any hesitation. I highly recommend this!

The idea is good in theory, but one bag doesn't cover the bottom of an extra large litter box. I end up using two at a time for the extra large box and one for a regular box. Because of that it just seems like a waste with the extra plastic bags. The litter is great, but gets four stars for the waste and the amount isn't really a bargain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With multi cats in the house, i would assume that the scent of febreeze would last longer, but its not true. After a couple of uses, the scent had faded away, and i had to fill in more litter than usual to cover the scent in the room. I would personally prefer to go back to the originals and it would last me longer than this one.

We have used Fresh Step exclusively for the last 20 years. Fresh Step clumps well making easy clean up and absorbs odors. No complaints on the product. Packaging changes over the years have been problematic with the plastic bag tearing the first time opening from the glue to keep it shut being too much.
