I have 4 cats so I picked this one off the store shelf because it specifically says it's for multiple cats. This doesn't clump well at all. The Triple Action and Total Control ones do a far superior job. 9 out of 10 times I scooped up a clump it would crumble before I could even put it in the nearby waste bucket. It's better than some other brands, but I expected better from Fresh Step. I would not recommend this for multiple cats or any number of cats if you're looking for something that clumps well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 cats and although I was satisfied with the regular Fresh Step Multi Cat clumping litter, I thought I would give the new product with Febreeze a try. I think it's an improvement - less dust and really handles the odor! I give it 2 thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this at home, but I’m sure there are plenty of reviews on that. I also use this in my tiny camper. The scent is not so strong as to choke you in such a small space. The fast acting clumping allows for quickly scooping the waste. If I don’t get to the waste fast enough, the Febreze controls the odor. I recommend this litter for anyone who camps with cats.

I have 5 cats in a 1 bedroom apartment, and this stuff works. The only time I smell anything from my cat pan is if I have not scooped it for 4 days, or I'm in the room and they just did their business. I was worried at first the Febreze freshness would be TOO fresh, but to my pleasant surprise the Frebreze in the litter does not have a strong smell. This is saving my apartment from smelling like kitty litter. All of my cats use one mega pan that is an under bed storage container. I scoop every 2-3 days and 'refresh' with a 42lb bag about once a month. The litter in the pan is usually 3-4 inches deep which makes it super easy to scoop. The litter clumps like a champ and quickly dries out turds to reduce odor. As advertised the new formula does have less dust, but the room that houses my pan has the most dust in my apartment. I feel though this is to be expected with clay based litters. Overall, I am very happy with Fresh Step litter, and will continue to scoop away to keep the natives happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this particular version for the very first time and I was very pleased, No to mention so were my two cats. It really kept the odors under control and there was less tracking of litter around the litter box. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this litter to try it out. I already have been using Fresh Step for many years and recently became a dual cat owner. It works great! No problems with two males sharing the box. I will keep using this litter!

This litter works great for my three cats. It really controls the litter box odor. I don't like the new plastic packaging though. It is very wasteful and environmentally irresponsible on Fresh Step's part. I prefer the cardboard boxes because at least it can be recycled. I will not be purchasing this litter in the plastic package again. I will continue to buy the smaller cardboard boxes.

This litter is good at helping to control odor but the clumps are elongated, heavy, and wet. This made them very hard to remove. They also stuck to the sides and bottom of box. I broke several litter scoops. I do have multiple cats and scoops my multiple boxes everyday at least 2xs or more. I began to become more and more disappointed in Fresh Step so I no longer use it.

I can’t stand the change you have made to this litter, it is so gross now. I was hoping that it was a packaging error because now it is just the same as one of the formulations I bought by mistake. But reading reviews, I guess this is the way it is now, so I will be changing brands.

We have 5 cats (I work in the veterinary field, so I tend to take home the forgotten kittens) and we always get the multi-cat. Works good. We use it in combination with the arm & hammor deodorizer (something fresh step should come out with), and our house never smells like we have 5 cats.
