I saw this in the store and was so excited, the cat litter I like and febreze which I use all the time. However it doesn't seem to smell like febreze and after 2 days my litter box smelled awful. I bought several boxes so until they are gone (which is going to be quickly apparently since I am changing out the litter a heck of a lot faster than regularly.)

I have friends come over and they always compliment me at how my house never smells like cats even though I have two of them. In most people's experiences the house will usually smell like animals if they live with you. In other words, this kitty litter is amazing!

This brand was recommended to me and I was apprehensive to buy it at first because it was a little pricey. But I am so glad that I did. This is the only litter I have used for the past year with my two kitties. The box never stinks! I clean the two litter boxes out every other day and there is never any noticeable bad odor between cleanings. This stuff is amazing and I would never go back to the cheaper bargain litters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a high value coupon for Fresh step cat litter from my pinchme box. I love this cat litter, it works great. I like the rewards program also when you purchase the litter. Only thing is it’s a little more expensive then other top brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As long as the cats cover up where they go, we don't have a problem with smell. It is fine enough that it does get caught in their paws, but we have a mat that catches any lose litter. Keeps it from crunching underfoot. I also really like the points program, I have so far gotten the ball toy, magnet and foldable tunnel.

I have two very fussy cats who are all about clean. They do not like litter that gets stuck in their paws. Fresh Step is fine grained and never gives them any problems. The Fabreeze is so great and covers odors completely, which is very important to my cats, and to myself. I always either buy the Multi-Cat or the Extreme and they love both kinds. This litter will pass the finicky cat test!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this brand of litter when my Nefertiti was just a kitten. I started using tidy cats because I really liked the tub they came in. My cat stopped pooping in her litter box and I couldn't figure out if it was the litter or the other cat. It turned out to be the litter because she absolutely loves fresh step and it smells great too.

My cat is really large and honestly barely fits in a large litterbox. When he goes number 1, it's like a river. I completely change the box twice a week. After a day, the other litter would smell so when he jumped on us we would also smell. This is the only litter that makes it three days. Note: We've had him to the vet and she ran tests and nothing is wrong that we can find. He is just a really long, large cat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh step litter has my kitties purrrrfectly happy. No combative making of territory or issues using each other's boxes or going outside the box and as a multicat home, I can say it is definitely odor fighting! We love fresh step cat litter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying Fresh Step consistently since I adopted my two cats in 2004, but I'm wondering if the newest formulation has diminished clumping capacity. Despite at least 3-4 inches of litter in each box -- and three boxes available at all times -- the urine often seems to flow to the edges and turn to a sticky mud paste which is difficult to remove, rather than clumping.
