I tried this after buying a less expensive litter for a bit. Finally the "kitty" odor was too much and I decided to go back to Fresh Step. When I saw the Fresh Step box with Febreze added, I grabbed it,...and then another. I'm hooked! Now when I open my front door I'm not hit with, "Oh my, that smell is awful!"

This litter is right up there with the extreme as far as effectiveness. This one and extreme level out. They both are very good litters. No scent for days! You shouldn't smell ANYTHING. If you do, you probably should change out the litter or your not cleaning it often enough. I would also like to note, I own 3 cats and have had 4. Using this litter with the 4 of them even, you couldn't smell the cat box. Never even knew it's in the same room with you!

I rescue cats and find the forever homes - I try and always send a new litter box with FreshStep with them to their new owners because it is what they know.

I have bought this once and I do love the smell but I will always buy Fresh Step because of the clumping action period!!!!!! I have multiple cats 5 to be exact. Fresh Step is the only litter that can keep up even if I can't LOL.... Thanks Fresh Step for making my life easier

I have been using febreze infused multi cat litter for 4 months now and i am VERY satisfied. The dust is not as bad as previous formulas, the scent is enjoyable, and the clumping power is consistent. I have virtually no issues with odor or with box cleanout and my cats seem to enjoy the litter as well!

I bought this freshstep litter for my cat a couple of times, because I couldn't find the other freshstep litter, that I normally use, it is great at controlling odors, but the only reason that I took off a couple of stars is because my cat was allergic to it, and the other ones with the febreze in them, it wasn't a really bad reaction, but my cats eyes, started watering and leaking like he had a infection in them, but I found out that it was just an allergy to the febreze type of litter. But if your cats are not allergic to it then I have to say it does work great for the smell.

I sure wouldn't let my litter boxes go for 10 days but even my fastidious little neurotic kitty doesn't mind 4 or 5 if things get hectic. The odor is really well trapped in the litter. I have two cats and my apartment never smells like it. Plus, I like being able to poor the littler into the box without having to hold my breath or cover my face due to the dust. The Febreeze scent isn't overpowering either. I wish it clumped a little bit better for scooping.

No one can tell I even have a cat until they see him. This litter blocks all smell. Also, pro-tip which shouldn’t really be a pro-tip: CLEAN YOUR CATS LITTER AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, IF NOT TWICE! People complaining that it doesn’t work must leave their litter dirty for multiple days which is gross, unsanitary, and unhealthy for you and your cat.

I have 2 kitties ... they've been inseparable since birth and share everything to this day ... 8 years later. Even down to the litter box. With such a fresh scent, the Fresh Step Multi-Cat with Febreze is the one I search out. Works as advertised! Every. Single. Time.

But fresh step has exceeded all expectations I’ve had for litter. It clumpier perfectly, and didn’t stick to my scoop. Not to mention it kept the smell at bay. 10/10 would recommend!!
