Almost perfect

Important to line out all parts and fasteners in order, even if it takes a few hours. Went together very well, step by step. I would consider assembling the crows nest completely on ground first. Bolts 090 or 091 may have been mis-labeled, but no biggie. I used ratchet straps to put the slide together by myself, and to keep the frame square during assembly. I hammered in 3' metal post to use for anchors due to high winds in my area. Intend to use green labeled Thompson Water Seal to spray on. This took me 5 days to casually assemble by myself.

Definitely Worth It

This was a great purchase because I've tracked it for a couple years now and waited for the product to go on sale. I have two boys under age 5 and another child on the way so I am expecting to maximize this playground's use. I opted to put the playground together rather than paying to have it put together for me. It wasn't too difficult but I do have some helpers that should make your life easier if you choose this route. First, pull all the lumber and hardware out of the boxes and organize by their labeled number. Take your time here because it will make it faster to find each piece during the build. Next, have an impact drill or purchase one. This is a must. Have a couple backup batteries handy so you can continue working. Finally, pay extra attention to the direction of some of the lumber and the pilot holes that are pre-drilled. Several times I had to turn boards around which slowed me down. It took me and a friend about 12 good hours to complete so take your time. Now that the build is over I can say that I am very happy with the playground. It seems sturdy and well built and so far my boys love it! My only complaint is some of the hardware is either exact amounts or even short in amount but the company will ship anything you need but that's annoying when your in the moment. So, you may have to hit the hardware store for a few bolts or screws.

Excellent play set

I recently put this play set together for my kids, and they LOVE it. My mother and I assembled it, and it did take a bit longer than the instructions indicated (we are both relatively skilled at this type of work, and put in 4 solid days of building). On the other hand, the instructions were detailed and accompanied by clear pictures, which made the construction process smooth. All the wood and hardware were included, with extras of commonly used pieces. The resulting swing set it lovely to look at, highly functional, and great fun for both my 1 year old and my 4 year old. The sandbox and double swing are particular hits!

Our kids love it!

We had been looking for a play set with great features and an affordable price tag and this is it. Our 5 year old loves it! He absolutely loves having picnics at his play set. Set up took us a full day and half with 2-4 adults. The pieces were all labeled well, but pay attention to the orientation of the predrilled holes and where they should line up. The set is sturdy and hardware appears heavy duty. There were a few floor planks that had already had splintering when we installed, that would be my only complaint. Overall we are very satisfied. As of now we have had it up for 3 weeks.

GREAT PRODUCT

I just finished the assembly. With about 26-28 hours from opening the first box I completed it by myself. There are some parts that would be helpful to have two people but I managed alone. My son has been on it ever since I finished it. The directions are about 95% accurate with some things having to be interpreted by looking at pictures but nothing so bad to cause an issue with assembly. If you want a great play set this is it.

Lots of Features

We had it in the garage awhile before we built it. It went together fairly easily. We We did a lot of prep work in water sealing each board and sorting parts which allows us to do most of the build in one 9 hour day with 4 people. It isn't quite finished in this picture but if you look closely, you can see that even the cat likes the hideaway.

It an ok play set.

My complaints are of the adult kind, so read the whole thing. I bought this a year ago and there are already signs of wear. For the price I expected a more sturdy product. The wood is a cheap type of pine it bends while the children are playing on it. I have a 4 and 2.5 year old and when they are up in the sky fort part it is umsturdy. I have a 12 yo niece and she said she was afraid the floor was going to break under her feet. When she got on the monkey bars the wood creaked and bent she thought that would break too. Adults should not get in this house. So if you enjoy playing with your children this not the play set for you. I would have spent the money on a play set that has better quality materials . Otherwise a good product because the kids like it.

It's a hit!

Rough to set up. The amount of pieces is overwhelming and took my handy hubby and I the whole weekend, but I would say it was worth it in the end. The kids love it. They especially love the lookout to see our neighbor horses over the fence, the upper fort provides awesome shade and a wind block, and the sandbox area is a favorite for my youngest. I think we'll add a large saucer swing under the monkey bars until they are bit older and can't tackle those.

Kiddos love it!

Our kids, ages 12, 8, 6, 4 and 3 love this "fort". It is loads of fun and they enjoy the different features. Assembly took some time, but my husband did it alone. I only had to help hold random pieces at times. Bottom line, the kids are happy, so we are happy!

Kids love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Husband and I bought this and put together ourselves(easy with directions but time consuming) for our girls 8 & 4. They loved it and have so much fun imagining all sorts of adventures in the fort or sandbox! Highly recommend
