There were a few things that we were pretty unhappy with! My husband is a carpenter, so It was constructed professionally, however almost immediately several boards came off as the kids were playing, the window inserts have come off, and the swings are too close together, if for whatever reason one of the kids starts going a bit sideways they hit Eachother! The swing bench also can not be used if the swing next to it is in use, for there is a high risk of bumping into the person next to you!

Took a while to put together, and was missing about 20 screws of the same size, so replacing them from Lowes was easy. Instructions was a little vague in spots but otherwise pretty good. Kids love it. Just make sure when you start, that you have it square and level, it'll make the assembly a lot smoother.

This is a great product. It IS a lot of work to build...but not as bad as some say. Mostly myself, with my dad twice for about 6 hours total, and me alone about 18...so 24ish (with kids bugging me!). LAY OUT ALL BOARDS, categorize, and inventory all things first. SAVES you time...only takes about 2 hours (i used garage floor). You will have TONS of extra hardward, seems they pack 1 way for all their sets. Most boards are great, some are crooked/cracked, and they do splinter...leading to my 4* quality review...but its fairly minimal, and looks great, sturdy, fun, and kids love it. TIPS: Have a drill/screwgun with power or multiple power packs. You need 3/8 and 3/16 drill bits, 1/2 in hex heads and phillips screwdriver all the time! Dont overtighten hex bolts. Some boards may need holes moved/cut if you're not totally square or if alignment off. Window switch could be done, I didnt' b/c I forgot! MAKE SURE right side swing beam is level or you won't get that bolt in! READ AND RE-READ instructions...they're ok, but do NOT clearly spell out which way to turn boards or what side is up/down left/right. You can easily install a piece wrong and find out too late! LOOK AHEAD to see where other holes go and line-up... COOL set though...worth the $$ and effort.

The process of getting the playset to our home was great. However; the company that came to install (GoConfigure). Was AWFUL! They had quoted us one price and since the men did not get it done in one day, which they said they would. They called and demanded I pay another $220. If I didn't they would unassembled the entire set. UGH!! I told the men over the phone what playset they would be installing and everything. When we checked out on the SAMS website we chose playset, not swingset since that is what the product description stated. We are very unhappy.

We bought this a year ago and our kids are now 4 and 7. It was pretty time-consuming to assemble (it took 2 of us about a week, not including site prep which we did ahead of time), but all the pieces fit and were good quality, and it was often satisfying to work on. Our kids love it. It has great features both for smaller kids (our littlest was 3 when we finished it) and has room for the kids to keep growing into it (our biggest loves the monkey bars). It's so cute to see the sibling love when they swing on the double swing together. It has provided hours of fun for our kids, including during our 7-year-old's backyard birthday party. It has everything the kids could imagine for a playground and as an adult, I think it looks good in our woodland backyard as well (no obnoxious colors). I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

By far the best gift I have ever purchased for my grandkids. A little intimidating arriving by freight and the thought of assembly; however, with an awesome Uncle Jake and Gramps the assembly went smoothly. Highly recommend organizing all the pieces and hardware PRIOR to starting the assembly and FOLLOW the instruction booklet! Assembly did take a few days; but the grandkids remained excited during the process. Great purchase!

Despite the undertaking of assembling yourself, this a great playset for any backyard. My suggestion is to unbox all 4 main boxes and layout all parts in alpha-numerical order. Then unbox all hardware and layout in alpha-numerical order. Take a breath and GO!

Really love the play set, my grandsons are very excited. I was upset when it was delivered. The boxes came ripped open and a mess. I took pictures in case I had problems. Everything was there and I was glad we didn't have any problems. It is an awesome set.

Our kids love it now that it's up. It took my husband by himself about 26 hours. He did a little every night after work. I would recommend having a level area planned out because we thought we had a good spot picked out and had to move it (in the beginning stages of being built). Give yourself a day to just lay out all the pieces and my husband actually stole my tupperware to put the screws and bolts in. Shipping was just the way it was explained; they called and set up a delivery time. The drivers were nice enough to also put in my backyard and not leave it to us to move. If you have the money, I totally recommend this playset.

I bought this swing set a couple of months ago. It is a sold out set at my local Sam's store. I had to order online. I really wanted this set because it has so many different activities that my kids can enjoy. The best feature is the look out where they can admire the stars at night.
