My husband put it together. He said it was fairly easy to put it together. He recommends going through to make sure you have all the parts and keeping boxes separated. He said it took roughly 24 hours to assemble. The kids love it. It's very attractive looking in the yard too. We purchased it through Sams because it was $500 less than it was with a competitor.

Two complaints only. Some of the hardware was a little soft, make sure you start every nut and bolt by hand. I think we only cross threaded a couple so not a big deal. Hardware was mostly torx and we did have a few strip out. Two of the “steps” had boards with offset holes in them and the directions were not clear of the holes should be inside or outside. I would like to see measurements to double check the spacing of the holes. Almost every hole was predrilled and things went together as they were supposed to. “Santa” brought ours so we were putting it together at night. Started in the garage one night with Rock wall, ladder, monkey bars, etc. Basically took three nights, I would say a solid 8 hour project for 2-3 people. We took our time and a couple GOOD cordless drills help. Kids love it and it seems very solid.

Wood seems a bit weak and many pieces slightly damaged. Directions better than most and pieces labelled with stamps (bought one once that had stickers that had come off all the wood pieces) and boxes each had individual inventory pages wihich really helped. Last one from company lasted 7 years and that is with only weatherproofing it twice in that time. Hopefully this one lasts 7 years too.

It was very hard to follow the instructions, to put a specific piece together it was so easy to put it in backwards, upside down ect. I had to disassemble several times to get it right. I am a contractor and thought it would be fun to put it together. Now I would recommend that you have it done by someone who is experienced in the process.

We bought this playset a year ago and hired a local guy to set it up. I am handy, but I would highly recommend hiring out for the build unless you have time to burn. We didn't get around to clear coating the set, but that doesn't appear to have mattered so far. We live in sunny southeastern Washington state (300 days of sunshine!) and have seen little to no fading of the stain. Our daughter loves playing on and in her set. The features appear well suited to someone who was 5 when we got it through at least the next couple of years. She likes to use it as a getaway, picnic station, playhouse and just to swing or climb on the mini climbing wall and up and down the slide. We bought ours through Sam's Club, finding the overall cost was lowest via that route. It was delivered by a tractor-trailer in good condition. As I recall, we didn't have to call for any replacement parts. One or two of the wood components were damaged but they were not damaged in any way that affected the set, as in neither visible once assembled nor splintery. Incidentally, our daughter has reported zero splinters in a full year of extensive play. Great set. Glad I didn't build it myself, truly, but I'm sure it would have been doable if I'd had the time to burn. Definitely would recommend it!

We bought the Skyfort II play structure for our 4 year old daughter 6 months ago. It arrived quickly and came with easy to comprehend instructions. We are not builders so it took us a little longer to put together than advertised but we did it!!! Our daughter plays on this everyday. It is very sturdy and has features that she will continue to use for years to come. I would highly recommend purchasing this play structure for you family.

It is a very great item. My three girls love it! Delivery was fast. A few defects in wood parts and missing parts that were replaced by the manufacturer. Easily obtained assistance from manufacturer. All material were well marked. I agreed with previous reviews about laying out all the material before building, it made it a lot easier to assemble. To much work during construction, but it worth it. My overall rating of the Skyfort is beautiful once it's up, great price, very stable, very large, very nice.

This swing set is very nice, the wood is a little cheap, but overall very sturdy. I put this together mostly by myself as my husband had to have emergency surgery the day we were supposed to start building it. After weather proofing it I decided to start by myself since the kids were exited to play on it. It took me 3 weeks, the first week I only worked on it a few hours a day since I was going back and forth to the hospital to visit my husband. Once he came home I was able to work on it for most of the day taking breaks when it got too hot. My kids like it but not as much as I thought they would. They're 8,7, and 3. I would still recommend it even though I think it's overpriced for the quality of wood you get.

I bought the Skyfort over Christmas. The delivery man informed me that he normally just drops off the fort at the front door. He pushed it up my driveway and then helped me carry it to the covered patio. It took him almost an hour with my help. I was extremely impressed and greatful for the man. I just recently finished putting together the fort. The directions where extremely frustrating at points but now that it is together and up it is beautiful. My daughter loves it and was able to help put parts of it together, (she's 5 years old). I had the help of my brother and cousin and we where only able to work for about 2 to 3 hours a day, so it took us roughly a week to complete it. My overall rating of the Skyfort is: beautiful once it's up, frustrating as all get out to read the directions at times. Remain patient and it will come together, promise!

I bought this July of 2021 and it took my husband and I almost 8 months to assemble it. We both work full time jobs and run a ranch so we were limited to a couple hours each evening and a few weekends. It was delivered in 4 separate boxes and the shipping sheets say exactly which boards are in each box. Assembly is EASY but time consuming by time you find the boards and the hardware.
