I can't say enough good about this set. First off I was building this and was up to step 45 out of 103 and the wind decided to pick it up and throw it into my Yukon. It ended up breaking 20 boards and bending some hardware. We salvaged what we could and I spoke to the manufacturer and they agreed to replace 8 of the most expensive board and I had to purchase the rest which in the end only cost me $40. I am super happy with the product quality, price, and service.

We purchased the Sky Fort II for our grand kids. It is advertised as being made of cedar. It is NOT CEDAR. It is a white wood painted a cedar color. A little disappointed as we might have chosen a different product had we known. We are worried this wood won't hold up well.

We bought last year's model at the end of the sesaon. It is awesome, kids love it! However, beware it is very time comsuming to assemble. You MUST have a big truck to get it home- it was in 5 boxes. The main support posts were NOT 4x4, they were sets of 2x2s encased in plastic; we had to buy good 4x4s. The playscape has no way to anchor to the ground. We had to buy 2 ft in-ground stakes for the 4x4s. The wood is NOT treated. EVERY SINGLE slat had to be sealed before assembly. This is NOT a weekend job; it took my very competent husband several weekends to assemble. Overall, a great purchase and the kids love it.

Great value, all pieces were present. All wood was in good shape. Assembly was very difficult if you want a precision job and I have very good carpentry skills. The instructions were very difficult to follow. The word instructions did not always match the pictures and several times they had you anchor something down to early that could cause alignment issues. You can avoid this by reading ahead at least a page or two and modifing as you go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Discovery Playset SKYFORT II WITH WAVE SLIDE for our backyard, and it’s been awesome! My kids are obsessed with the wave slide and love hanging out in the upper clubhouse, pretending it's a princess castle. The rock climbing wall and ladder are perfect for keeping them active, and the swing set with the two-person glider is a huge hit. The cedar wood is not only good-looking but also super sturdy, so I feel confident about their safety. The instructions for putting it together were clear, and having some friends help made it easier. This playset has turned our backyard into a fun, exciting place where the kids love to play for hours. The quality outdoor play equipment that is totally worth the investment. I highly recommend the SKYFORT II to anyone wanting to create a cool outdoor play area for their kids.

The Skyfort II so far has been an excellent purchase! For the price, there is a lot for kids to do: Swings, monkey bars, lookout tower, etc. We did have a few broken pieces, but Backyard Discovery’s support was phenomenal! We recommend this set for any friends who have the space. It’s a no-brainer!

Bought this for our 2 year old and he loves it. The Monkey bars are pretty high, my 5’3 self cannot even reach them but it seems like it’s going to be great to grow with him for years. I do wish the planks were a bit thicker for peace of mind but so far it’s been great!

We ordered this play set two weeks ago and my three kids are already using it. We ordered it on a Thursday night, and had it in my garage on Monday afternoon. This is a fantastic play set for the money and we are so glad after our research, we made the right decision and went with the Sky Fort. My kids are 10, 7, & 7 and it is great for them. Took us 2 long days with 3 guys to put together, so know that up front. Organize the parts and alphabetize the boards before you start working and you will save a TON of time. Amazon has a great review with helpful solutions to follow, but purchase from SAMs, way less $$$. If you are going to pay $1,000 - $3,000 on a play set, go for the Sky Fort. It is a can't miss.

I bought this set because it had all the things I wanted (a fort, monkey bars, rock wall, and several swings). It wasn't scheduled to arrive until next week but I was beyond estatic when it arrived early! My husband worked on it a little after work (because I have 4 under 5) and, due to some lingering light, i helped after kids went to bed we had it up in a week. not bad concidering it was essentially 1 person putting it together. Piece of advise would be to sort the pieces as you open the boxes, they are in there any kind of way and don't assume that all of 1 piece is in the same box. My husband tried to jump on it but I hadn't had a chance to sort it out yet and it was kind of a cluster. BUT I sorted it all out and got everything back on track during nap times so we were good to go on day 3 (was a saturday so 1st full day of work). Once you start getting it together and the pieces are orgnaized it really doesn't take that long and goes together smoothly. Also, pay very close attention to the instructions. My husband actually preferred the book to some app he found because apparently they didn't give the exact measurements of spacing and the alignment of the holes. In the long run, I had 5 10 yos, 8yo, 5yo, 4yo, 3yo, 1yo playing on it during a birthday party today and it held up beautifully and they all seemed to have an amazing time. I may end up getting some more boards to close up the other bottom of the picnic area because I really am NOT feeling sand or try to find some other cool use for it... maybe a childs hammock... but GREAT PURCHASE!

For the most part we are very satisified with the timeliness of the delivery, the quality of the product and the assembly directions. What we were not happy with was some of the missing screws that we had to replace on our own. In one instance I was told at Lowe's that these are specialty screws, bolts, etc. made specifially for the play set so we had to improvise. That was a hassle.
