Great value for the offering. Good quality product. Durable. Looks adorable. My son loves it (he is 4). All the neighborhood kids are always asking to come over and play on it. It took my husband an estimated 20 hours to assemble. He said it wasn't bad to assemble. We built sections in our garage and then carried the tower back to where it would be placed, and finished the final assembly in our backyard. We had all our parts - nothing was missing like I had seen mentioned on some reviews. All parts were packaged nicely - very organized. Came in 4 large boxes - fit in our garage. We did not have time to seal or stain it before assembly like it sates in the manual. If you have time I would do that before assembly. Pleased with the purchase.

Bought this bad boy from Sam’s Club & couldn’t be happier. Took some hours to finish, but if you prepare & organize well prior to the day of install, it goes very smoothly. Make sure to print multiple copies of the instruction manual for the people helping, and organize the wood pieces and parts by category (or even by ‘step’). It would not go nearly as smoothly if we didn’t.. No creaks, No leaks, and am fully expecting this to last us years. Thanks Backyard Discovery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my kids and put it together myself with help of another. I felt the price was good for all that you got. Assembly was challenging, but they made it easy with everything labeled and an inventory sheet in each box. The kids really like all the features. We'll see how it holds up.

I bought this a few months ago but just now finishing up putting it together. Love the that all the nuts and bolts were clearly marked in their respective bags. Made it easier to put together than guessing what size screws they were. Some of the hard fasteners and screws were deformed and not usable, although I found extras in the bag. Some of the woods was softer than others and the screws went deep when using a drill. Others the screws would just spin and would not hold the board. This was prevalent in the crows nest. I also had boards spilt (J1 crows nest) so the crows nest is off limits until I can replace the 2 J1 boards and some of the sides posts on the crows nest. One of the picnic table boards will need to be replaced as it split pretty bad, I haven't connected the slide yet the way it fastens to the deck (the slide material) leaves me a little worried. I would recommend fastening the 2 side frames to the deck as well. The swing set balancing on a small ledge is scary. I plan on adding an additional and thicker board to help support the swing beam. Overall I think the wood should be a bit thicker. Since the wood is not treated I sat the main body on top of pressure treated 2x6s. I was disappointed that the wood is not sealed and I needed to weather proof the wood. Some of the boards were warped or bowed in such a way the did not sit flush on other boards. There were several steps in the build I held off because I knew I would need to adjust them to ensure other parts fit. I would also recommend adding an additional bar to the monkey bars as the first one is a little far for the younger kids. with an additional bar, it would also place the one next to the fort a little closer so the kids don't need to grab the wood frame. I am afraid that one may crack after a while. Having all the parts marked was a tremendous help and I would recommend separating the parts by steps, so you are not hunting for parts as you put them together. I found it easy to put together and I did the majority myself. Definitely need an extra hand putting the swing beam and monkey bars in place. Also Este delivery was awesome and went above and beyond delivering right to my garage over a 130" driveway. My grand kids are super excited and had already started testing it out. I know they will have loads of fun as soon as I finish up the last details. They are anxious for me to give the green light on the crows nest. Definitely a great looking swing set with lots of activities. I will add photos after fully complete.

Like many others I spent many hours looking for a swing set and always came back to this one. We have 3 kids (7,5,4) and wanted to find something that could grow with them. It does come in 4 huge boxes. We met the Semi at our local Menards because he had a delivery there and it fit in the back of a pick up truck. We had all the pieces and nothing was broken. Our project took 6 days to complete. We had some rain and my husband works during the day and worked on the swing set at night . My dad helped a few nights. The directions are ok. The picnic table was a little confusing. It would be helpful if they had a north and south direction on the pictures because they change perspectives and it can be hard to tell where some things are suppose to go . Keep looking at the pictures. Hardest part was telling the kids they had to wait. I didn't sort the boxes. Each one comes inventoried with what is in them so I kept a page a head of my husband and pulled pieces for him. We did some of the construction in the garage during the rain or at night. We added a steering wheel and put in the crow's nest and the kids love it. We have had it up for 4 days and they have spent hours on it already! They imagine some really neat things using the crows nest. Overall, well worth the wait. We need to water seal it when it warms up. I also bought the sandbox cover . It is plastic mesh. The snaps are hard to take off. The kids can't do it. I have only been snapping on 2 sides . I am not sure I would buy it again.

This is very time consuming took me about 24 hrs but well worth it very easy to put together just pay attention to detail we were missing a few parts but they overnight them to you no problem overall my kids love it and they have been outside everyday since its been up there is a lot of measuring and drilling holes so be prepared for that.

When we were looking for a playset for our 4 year old and 1 year old, one of the most important things we took into consideration was how long they would get use out of it. There are many sets out there by big name brands that have tons of features, more than this one even, but the overall "size" of the set is small as far as deck height etc., so it would be outgrown fast. This set is HUGE, as an adult I feel perfectly comfortable playing right along side the kids, and my husband who is 6'4 can even stand up straight inside the upper deck. I have no doubt that they will still be using this playset well into their teens. We purchased an infant/toddler swing off Amazon to switch out with one of the swings until our littlest is old enough to use it. Prior to purchasing/building, I was careful to read through all the reviews to take note of tips and tricks, and there were some I found super helpful and some that were a little over the top. Because we live in an area that gets a decent amount of snow and rain, I did take the time to seal/stain each board prior to building. There is a LOT of pieces so if you do this, give yourself a couple days, it took a long time. I felt that sealing prior to building was best because all the inside edges touching each other that wouldn't be able to get to after building would be covered, and I didn't have to work around any of the hardware. We did not organize everything by letter/number when we laid it outside to stain it, and because we were working towards a deadline to get it done prior to a party, we did not end up taking the time to move them around and do that before starting the build process. I believe that was a mistake and it would've saved us a ton of time during the actual build if we had laid out the boards in order so I highly recommend doing that. On the other hand, I personally disagree with the people who spent hours organizing the hardware into baggies by step. The hardware is very clearly labeled and easy to sift through since it doesn't take up a big area like the boards. We just made sure to use tape to close the bag back off after taking what we needed so there wasn't the risk of them spilling and getting mixed up. I thing the time spent doing that would be better spend just getting started building. We worked in a pair with one completing a step while the other pulled the hardware and boards for the next step and that seemed to work very well. I honestly think any additional people would've just gotten in the way. We were able to easily get through it with the instructions that I printed off this page, and didn't need to download the video ap. The most important thing is to pay double and triple attention to which way you orient the boards when building, so that the pilot holes are in the right spot for preceding steps. I thought we were being really diligent about this, but there were still a few times we had to go back and turn boards around from previous steps. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying so avoid it as much as possible lol Overall we are super pleased with the set, and found it pretty straightforward to build. All of the wood and hardware was clearly marked and good quality, we weren't missing anything. As long as you pay attention to detail and follow step by step there's really no way to mess it up. It took us a whole week M-F working a couple hours after work each night to stain the boards, then the weekend Saturday and Sunday working all day (about 12 hours each day) to build and were able to finish up Monday after work. So if you don't count the stain/seal time, it took us as a pair just over 24 hours to build.

We bought this a couple months ago and took about two full weekends of work to install it (but everything was simple to do ourselves). The kids (3 and 4) absolutely love it so far. It is a bit hot out right now (summer in Phoenix) but it will be great for us come fall and winter.

Had a few missing pieces called customer service and they were at my door within 2 days. My husband and I got it together within 24 hrs, spread out throughout a few rainy days during Thanksgiving break. My kids love it. I've seen many playsets cheap for little money. This one is very nice good quality and heavy duty for a decent price. My girls are 4, 8, and 11, and they all love to play in it.

This swingset is as nice as it looks in the picture. It took 5 adults 4 /4 hour nights after work to put it together. My 2 year old granddaughter loves it! Separate all the parts and read the manual first My daughter, sister and myself put all the components together , the 2 guys built it and didn't have any problem
