Just took it around the block the first. For side, back and stomach sleepers why would anyone consider anything less? I bought a Zinus mattress from Sam's earlier this year. Way too soft. Bad choice. Always wanted the Glenmoor but my kids have the Zinus. Theirs are indeed former. Glenmoor is a balance for those who'll sleep in any position. If you need rock hard firm mattress get the former model. Best thing I did was took it for a test ride. The Oakbridge model was whew.... Firm! Always test it. A test drive never hurts. Now...hoping the besatue holds up....

this is a firm mattress , so if you like firmness this is the one.. the pillow top softens the firmness, been getting a lot better sleep at night with this mattress . the price was right to comparisons to others. good quality of course its a Serta... I had other foam mattresses that didn't last very long. this one is a hybrid so it should hold up... I know its a early review but I its a quality matterss just in two nights of sleep..

Just got this home. Obviously, great price with the current $125 instant savings. This is our 3rd Serta; 2 from Sam's. Beware of: "Note: Sizes, heights and weights are approximate." listed in the description. Our "King" measures 12" height; 74" width; 78" length. Sure was looking forward to standard 76"x80". Suppose I don't have to worry about king sheets not fitting; there is 2" of extra fitted sheet fabric. Thankfully we are fit, average height adults so giving up the 2" width and length for the "instant savings" offer balances things out. I'll give it a couple months before I comment on the comfort. Initial impression: it is more comfortable than our previous Serta which was a FIRM with no pillow top.

We just received this mattress yesterday and we are pleased with our first night's sleep. We replaced a 4 year old Tempur Pedic that we hated. It was too hot and my boyfriend sunk in, could not roll over easy. We went to popular mattress store to try out similar mattresses to get an idea of the firmness of this model. The price is great as we looked on websites and went to competitor stores, it was very difficult to find a king size mattress under $1000 w/free shipping and free pick up of the old mattress. We received the bed 11 days after order. We could have received it 2 days earlier, but it was a weekday and we wouldn't be home to accept the delivery.

Online pricing was confusing and showed different prices for the same product. The one day sale price was more than the regular price. Took some time and effort to get that straightened out. The white glove delivery and set up was excellent. Happy with the product.

Bought this mattress couple weeks ago for guest room. Looks very comfy but sits so high on 9" box spring. Club did not have a Serta "low profile" box spring. Afraid may be unsafe for young children or elderly to sleep on. Not sure what to do; may have to return if I can.

It is not a plush mattress, it is Hybrid mattress and all Hybrid mattresses are a little firmer when you first purchase them.. If you read the label on the side of the mattress it says 866 custom support FIRM individually wrapped coil system. Which means it has firm coils inside of the mattress with a memory foam top. It sleeps well, and it will break in after you use it over time. Mattresses today cost as much as a good pre-owned car, so for the money and Serta quality, this is a great deal especially with the instant $130.00 off the price. If you are looking for a good mattress and do not want to break the bank, this is the one to buy. You get a great Serta quality mattress, made in the USA, and it's a 14" thick pillow top mattress. After a short time of using it, the mattress will break in and be more comfortable to your liking. All good mattresses are a little firm when you first buy them, but after a little time, it will feel a lot better and softer.

I bought this for wife mainly. She says she has had a better sleep and getting into rim sleep (being able to dream). I have had seven back surgeries and I find it has a great FIRM support, but with the soft pillow top it is comfortable. I always had to use an egg crate mattress over our old mattress. Great value, and with 866 coil springs I am sure it will hold up for years to come. People need to research and know how they sleep before blaming the Mattress for being firm. If you sleep mainly on side you may need a mid-firm mattress or maybe a soft mattress.

I love how you don't feel the other person moving around on this mattress. My old mattress was starting to cave in the middle and this mattress has been a welcome change. The mattress is a little firm, but comfortable. The only downside is that it is pillowtop so you can't flip it over. But, then you have the comfort of a pillowtop.

We just bought it online on last big Friday sale. My husband got a pain from sleeping on too soft mattress so we normally sleep on the flat sheet on the floor. Yesterday night the mattress just arrived and today my husband says he felt no pain on his back at all. For myself I love the balance between how firm and how soft of this mattress. Recommended to have one!
