this is a firm mattress , so if you like firmness this is the one.. the pillow top softens the firmness, been getting a lot better sleep at night with this mattress . the price was right to comparisons to others. good quality of course its a Serta... I had other foam mattresses that didn't last very long. this one is a hybrid so it should hold up... I know its a early review but I its a quality matterss just in two nights of sleep..

I bought this for wife mainly. She says she has had a better sleep and getting into rim sleep (being able to dream). I have had seven back surgeries and I find it has a great FIRM support, but with the soft pillow top it is comfortable. I always had to use an egg crate mattress over our old mattress. Great value, and with 866 coil springs I am sure it will hold up for years to come. People need to research and know how they sleep before blaming the Mattress for being firm. If you sleep mainly on side you may need a mid-firm mattress or maybe a soft mattress.

I have had this for a month. Getting used to it. Very good quality, I think it is a great mattress but was not expecting it to be so hard. The only 'give' is the pillowtop. The rest might as well be made out of plywood. This is meant to be a warning about the firmness of the mattress.

This mattress hurt my knee so bad. You feel it is full of ground textiles not foam. Doesn't give you any support or bounce feeling whatsoever. If you are 300+ pounds stay away from this mattress. The only good thing that Sam's gave me a full refund with no question asked. I am going to get an innerspring hybrid mattress today.

Online pricing was confusing and showed different prices for the same product. The one day sale price was more than the regular price. Took some time and effort to get that straightened out. The white glove delivery and set up was excellent. Happy with the product.

I just had this set delivered yesterday. The foundation box springs width is 6" smaller than the california king mattress. They set is up with a big gap in the middle of the box springs. Called and they said it would take 5-7 days for response. Have spent way too much time trying to fix problem.

Very good overall especially for the money and immediate use value. Just starting in a new home, unfurnished, and I wanted a budget friendly bed that could eventually be a great guestroom bed. The first two nights on it and I am thinking that I may just be getting a second one of this one because Serta made it structurally right, especially for people like me. I am able to sleep on almost anything except firm or hard surfaces and this labeled as medium, but isn't so soft that I was being folded or melting too much into the surface. I would say the best way to utilize this bed is to actually add a quilted mattress cover to give you the final plushy sensation. If you go to the store, they are still available but you won't get it delivered from the store and it doesn't save you a dime to buy it there, so, the delivery crew was fast, friendly, in contact, overall an was an excellent 'white glove' delivery team. I even tipped the two guys $10 because I was overall completely impressed. I did not have a mattress to dispose of, so, we didn't have to get into that kind-of work for them, but I am sure that would have been handled as well. So, 5 stars to Serta, the manufacturer, and to Sam's Club, the seller, and the MXD Group, the delivery company, all, for taking good care of me through this purchase.
