Very good quality, like the way it is set up and detailed. Rain gage seems very accurate.

works good. can't believe 166 lightning strikes in one day, but I wasn't counting it was.

I was delighted to purchase it last year for weather monitoring during a home renovation project in the Sierra Nevada. I bought a second one for my primary residence this year, but was disappointed to find that the current model no longer offers remote monitoring so it was returned.

I am a Florida Certified Emergency Manager and National Weather Service Weather Spotter, so accurate weather information is important to me. I have had TWO different AcuRite weather station systems operating at my home next to each other for over five years. The outdoor sensors and indoor displays are mounted within 1 inch of each other. The display readings have NEVER been the same, usually off by 2 or 3 degrees/inches/mph, etc. or MORE! There is no consistency to the readings between the two systems. I call the devices "Acu-WRONG" because they are never in sync. Which should I believe? I do not recommend any products from this brand and would NEVER purchase anything from this manufacturer. The manufacturer does not seem to care.
