This home weather station tracks a comprehensive list of weather data, including indoor/outdoor temperature (degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius), indoor/outdoor humidity (percent RH), wind speed (mph, kmh, or knots), wind direction (with a 16-point wind rose), barometric pressure, heat index, wind chill, dew point, and daily and all-time high and low records. Additionally, the display provides the time and date (month/day), acting as the perfect weather clock. The weather ticker portion on the display streams real-time information and alerts for weather conditions. The home weather station's color display features an auto-dimming brightness setting, has a convenient tabletop stand, or can be mounted to any wall. It records historical data, including current, weekly, monthly, and yearly lightning strike counts (miles or kilometers), average wind speed (at 1-, 2-, 5-, 10-, and 15-minute intervals) as well as historical rainfall records (inches or millimeters) for the previous 48 hours, seven days, month, and year.

Great Price, Dependable Unit

Dependable, but limited lifespan. I've owned 4 of these. They last about 2 1/2 to 3 years. I get it, they are not the $2000 units that you might like to have that are hard wired. But for a hobbyist and for wireless connectivity to the home screen, $129 is what would I expect, and so I am loyal to this brand. MIne is installed in a harsh saltwater environment. It's tough on the hardware, batteries, and the UV and humidity is extreme. When Hurricane Harvey hit a few years ago, my remote unit disappeared, and my screen was locked with 99MPH on the wind gauge, 9.6 inches of rain on the rain gauge history, and 27.8 on atmospheric pressure. I later found the remote unit about 200 yds from the house in terrible shape and kept as a souvenir next to a photo of the screen shot of the display on my shelf in my library/study.. Priceless.

Great weather station!

I have been using this station for several weeks now, and I am impressed with the quality and accuracy. I am equally impressed with the lighting detector. Homes with swimming pools would benefit from this detector, for you can monitor lighting strikes as far as 25 miles away giving more than enough time to get out of the pool. I had an issue with the paring of station and the indoor panel, but after several attempts I was able to make this happen.
