This home weather station tracks a comprehensive list of weather data, including indoor/outdoor temperature (degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius), indoor/outdoor humidity (percent RH), wind speed (mph, kmh, or knots), wind direction (with a 16-point wind rose), barometric pressure, heat index, wind chill, dew point, and daily and all-time high and low records. Additionally, the display provides the time and date (month/day), acting as the perfect weather clock. The weather ticker portion on the display streams real-time information and alerts for weather conditions. The home weather station's color display features an auto-dimming brightness setting, has a convenient tabletop stand, or can be mounted to any wall. Great Price, Dependable Unit

Dependable, but limited lifespan. I've owned 4 of these. They last about 2 1/2 to 3 years. I get it, they are not the $2000 units that you might like to have that are hard wired. But for a hobbyist and for wireless connectivity to the home screen, $129 is what would I expect, and so I am loyal to this brand. MIne is installed in a harsh saltwater environment. It's tough on the hardware, batteries, and the UV and humidity is extreme. When Hurricane Harvey hit a few years ago, my remote unit disappeared, and my screen was locked with 99MPH on the wind gauge, 9.6 inches of rain on the rain gauge history, and 27.8 on atmospheric pressure. I later found the remote unit about 200 yds from the house in terrible shape and kept as a souvenir next to a photo of the screen shot of the display on my shelf in my library/study.. Priceless.

Great weather station!

I have been using this station for several weeks now, and I am impressed with the quality and accuracy. I am equally impressed with the lighting detector. Homes with swimming pools would benefit from this detector, for you can monitor lighting strikes as far as 25 miles away giving more than enough time to get out of the pool. I had an issue with the paring of station and the indoor panel, but after several attempts I was able to make this happen.

Be Patient and Really Study the Unit First

There is, due to all the features in this weather station, a rather steep learning curve if you want to take advantage of them all. The basic stuff works right out of the box. Other feature takes a little setup. For example, setting the right wind direction requires a specific type of location that is level with the unit facing True North. For that one needs a compass app or the magnetic version and away from any object that would distort the wind’s direction. I also found the several setup buttons to be very touch sensitive. Things can get a little crazy simply by touching parts of the face before you have studied where each is and what each does. All in all it’s a good unit and a good value. One issue, not the unit’s problem. I kept picking up a sensor that I could not identify. It was interfering with my indoor readout. Changing the ID code from A to C fixed that.
