[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the specific purpose of being able to hold overflow of food being brought to us whilst dealing with upcoming surgery and subsequent recovery. Preferred vertical freezer over chest freezer both for ease of access to food and smallest footprint. This freezer was perfect in both respects. It is frost-free and EnergyStar rated, which are two other criteria I wanted in a freezer. Installation went fairly well, though the leveling was a little more difficult than it should be, in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the freezer brought the temperature down to the set temperature - did not need nearly the time specified in the manual. Also, even though this freezer is in my basement, I did not want to listen to a lot of noise and the freezer delivers - could not even hear it 10 ft away. Bottom line - this freezer cost more than I wanted to spend but the vertical type and the small footprint were my top two criteria. It was far less expensive than other freezers meeting this criteria. So far it has worked great and I really like it. Plus, I also have the option, once the additional freezer space is no longer required, of switching to refrigerator mode and using it for storing drinks and snacks. Would I buy it again? Hell, yeah!

I’m having a hard time re installing the drawers after removing all of them to clean the freezer. Pictures show the smallest drawer on top with a shelf on top but that drawer doesn’t fit! I can’t shut the door with the drawer in that position. Please help me!!

I have a small home and have never had enough space for a traditional upright freezer. However this narrow size is perfect for my small home. I also love all of the drawers instead of shelves. Nothing gets shoved to the back and forgotten, you can easily see and access everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer for our garage and it looks fabulous next to my old GE fridge. It is slim and sleek on the outside while the inside keeps everything super organized. Overall the fridge will be used mainly for freezer purposes, but may convert to fridge on an as needed basis. The only complaint I have is that the door is not easily reversible and it runs quite hot on the sides in my garage sometimes.

i always like to wait at least a year before writing a review of a product we purchase, and this samsung has been an excellent purchase. upon receiving the product, i installed the samsung freezer, myself, a day later so that the gas could settle in the compressor. it now has been running close to a year and has been operating perfectly. i would highly recommend the product. we store mostly meat and vegetables in the freezer, and am considering purchasing another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had initially looked at buying a small chest freezer, but decided the upright with shelves would be a much wiser setup considering that in a chest, something would always end up on the bottom. I love the multiple drawers to divide types of frozen food. and the top shelves are easy to reach. I did not realize the appliance was convertible (can be used as a refrigerator or freezer), but that is definitely a plus!

Bought a 4-door flex and while roomy, you couldn't really get the full use of all three zones once all the frozen food was in it. With this I can keep soon to use frozen food, current open ice cream, etc. in the fridge freezer, use the different fridge settings on the flex zone and keep longer term frozen foods and meats in the upright. It is pretty narrow and occupies a dead spot across from the pantry. I find that I open it far less so the frozen foods last longer and I don't get a bunch of ice crystals in everything.
