[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought about March 2023. It was out of order in September 2024. The temperature shown on control board was wrong. The temperature shown on the board was 34 degF which was a setting temperature. After unplugging power and connecting it, it shows real temp. 45 degF. But measured temp by our thermometer was over 55 degF. The temperature on the board was changed whenever resetting the refrigerator.

The refrigerator compressor went down in my refrigerator and I needed a freezer while storing some things with the neighbor. I saw this freezer/refrigerator and decided it would be great for my needs. It has a very spacious foot print and fits in the garage nicely. Easy to find what you are looking for and does a fantastic job at maintaining a constant freeze temperature. Food does not get defrosted and iced up like in the refrigerator/freezer due to the high swings in temperature for defrosting needs. So far this has been a dream come true and the way freezers should be made. I have changed my kitchen now to the Samsung induction stove/oven and the convection microwave which work together quite nicely. Samsung definiatly has the user in mind in creating their appliances.

really happy with buying two of them to have all freezer and all fridge. plenty of space and much better than my ge fridge with limited freezer space. othe reviews indicate that the holes fto reverse the door are not available. this is incorrect. a thin layer of plastic covers them, using a drill with low torque, you can easily pass them using the screws. they are very quite, i'm working next to them.

It says that it's dongle ready, but apparently you can't add a dongle to use it on smart things? We bought these to add to SmartHub after a garage fridge failure. Disappointed that their information is apparently wrong, smidge of false advertising. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One month in and all is well. Love the slim design… just what was needed for the extra freezing capacity we needed. Garage location works well given that it operates within a wide range of ambient temperatures.

We have 7 year old french door samsung fridge, that been giving us always problems. 2 ice makers failed, it flooded our wood floors and Evaporator cover been soaking water and leaking on the bottom drawer... So we where in need of a tall narrow fridge that can be converted to freezer or fridge. In 2022 we got this 11.4 cu Samsung convertible fridge. and it is a great design and we like it. its been 2.5 years, and this fridge its leaking water from the evaporator cover to the bottom fridge floor. took the evaporator cover off. Drain is not clogged, its again - evaporator cover, made so cheap, glued with silver duct tape, foam edges are made of the worst quality foam, and whole cover is saturated with water....problem is in the meantime we bought seccond of those fridges. just waiting for the other to leak as well. We promised ourselves - never buy samsung appliances...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had initially looked at buying a small chest freezer, but decided the upright with shelves would be a much wiser setup considering that in a chest, something would always end up on the bottom. I love the multiple drawers to divide types of frozen food. and the top shelves are easy to reach. I did not realize the appliance was convertible (can be used as a refrigerator or freezer), but that is definitely a plus!

It’s great knowing we can store our holiday turkey and then switch over to a refrigerator mode for summertime parties.
