The pork inside was kinda tasty but it looks like beans because it’s so ground up. The masa is disgusting. It’s so thick and flavorless. I knew when I saw the paper the tamale comes wrapped in that the masa was going to be nasty. Ive been wanting some real tamales since I left EC in Indiana. These won’t do. Probably won’t purchase again.

I purchased these with a mid April Sell By date. On March 18, when I opened them to serve for dinner, they were moldy! This is the second time this has happened with Tamales from Sam's. I didn't take them back the last time because we live too far away and the Sell By date would have passed by the next time we made a trip to Sam's. These will be going back tomorrow! Food is too expensive to have to throw it away because it's already moldy weeks before the Sell by Date!

these tamale are big and a lot of meat in them not like the ones in the market.
