They are disgusting and the masa is hard to soften.

Tamales with terrible flavor

The grossest food I have ever bought. Waste of money Sams you dropped the ball on this one

Don’t waste your money on this item

These used to be so much better tasting. They must have changed the recipe. Way too much corn and not enough filler

Not so great anymore

These have a very thick tasteless maze, and very little meat in the middle.  Even covering them with chili didn’t help!  
I won’t buy again!

Awful

Found mold on them less than a week from when I purchased them. Usually I like these but I had to throw out the entire pack.

Usually good but

Not as good as homemade, but nothing ever is. This comes close and the family loves them. The price is very comparable

They had mold when I purchased them and since I live so far away from Sam’s, I threw them away- I was craving them too!

Craving gone wrong

The quality of these tamales has really slid this year.  We have purchased them for years, at the "other" warehouse, as well as at Sam's.  The ones we got were beat up (probably the curbside person, so we won't hold that against Del Real); but they were also dry, and had next to NO FILLING.  In past years these have always had very generous portions of meat in them; no longer.

I would rather the price increase a dollar or two than to sacrifice the quality of what used to be a fantastic product.

Catch ya tamale

I bought these for my lunch for the week. I usually eat one, maybe 2 if I'm really hungry. These are good, slightly spicy and filling. I gave a 4 because they don't taste as good as I had hoped and they have a lot of masa that I'm used to. These have a lot of meat.
